That's nice. Still not buying a soulless electric transport appliance tho.
>>
>>
Oddly enough it's only the RWD spec, if you go AWD it goes from $39k to $79k. Chink teslas with different batteries...

You're basically telling us "I love to fund rich sheiks in dubai".

Crazy how corpos can just drop $10k off the MSRP. People literally paying $10k for nothing in the "free market", what a fucking joke.

Wait until you find out where electricity comes from. I’m sure the entire pipeline from energy production to EV charging profits only good people that you agree with and no one else.

Canadians, including Candians (PRC), would be idiots not to buy the best EV option on the market. Chinese EVs look attractive on the spec sheet, until they're let down by the fact that they're not getting a warranty or that the build quality isn't anywhere close to what they promised.

They have a saying for this;
>一分钱,一分货
>one cent of money, one cent of goods
If it's cheap, they have full intentions to rip you off.
>>
>>28933751
Canadians make like half as much money as Americans, so it's still way more expensive for them than here. And the more they keep outsourcing all their industries to chinks, the poorer they'll get.
>>
>>28934382
You can make your own electricity though.

Tie a key to a kite string and profit?

Not my problem, third-worlder.

Do you think people are buying EVs on AliExpress or something? Chinese companies are building dealer and service networks in every market that enter.
>>

>the sun, the water and the wind
No, it doesn't.
>>
>>28934488
It does in 1st world countries (also nuclear)

Nuclear is technically water.

Electricity is when electrons move and energy is when anything moves or has the capacity to, something like that?
>>
>>28934493
Fortunately it's just one guy. He's in every single one of these threads. He thinks that because the majority of the worlds energy is derived from coal and oil that means all the worlds energy is derived from coal and oil and that it's impossible in the future for the our dependency on coal and oil to ever be diminished
>>
>every year emissions standards get more strict
>every year battery chemistry gets better
chuds are in for a rude awakening
>>

Modern petrol cars are already so neutered you're better off just getting an EV if you want a pure driveline with minimum amount of ECO niggery. Driving a hybrid is the worst.
>>
>>28934511
Why don't you like driving hybrids? I admit I don't have much experience with them, but I've driven my friend's 3rd gen Prius and honestly the experience was very pleasant.
I also like the concept of EREVs a lot, though there are very few models on the market as of right now.
>>
>>28934515
The ones I've driven feel too much made for the sole purpose of eco-faggotry MPG. No fun allowed.
>>
>>28934516
The Prius is not supposed to be fast or sporty. However there are powerful hybrid cars. There's a hybrid S-class model with like 800hp. I thought you had a reason why driving a hybrid specifically is the worst.
>>
>>28934493
It's always so fucking funny to me that Americans like to tell me about MY country. 85-90% of my country's energy comes from green/renewable resources, going up 1% every year. So it's bizarre to me they keep telling me that if I drive an EV, my EV is powered by coal.
>>

>85-90% of my country's energy comes from green/renewable resources
What's crazy is that's also true in some parts of America too, but people here don't even know about it and will make the same dumb arguments.
>>
>>28933858
Last I saw, Tesla profits around $10-$12k per vehicle. Most competitors only profit around $1k or less. So they can probably afford to drop prices somewhat in order to try to kill the competition.
>>
>>28934478
I get that English is probably a second language where you come from but the post I’m responding to is about who profits from energy production, not its proximate source. Like I said, I’m sure all of the nuclear and solar is run exclusively by people you agree with.
>>
>>28934424
>You can make your own electricity though
how long until the ZOG restricts the amount of sunlight you're allowed to collect off your own property?
>>
>>28934693
When you're the only EV player in town and the country (depending) gives $5-10k subsidies per EV, he can afford to crank up the prices. With competition, he has to lower the price in order to still earn $5k per vehicle because some countries still offer subsidies.

At least now customers can save a bit of money. $10k extra is nothing to scoff at.
>>
>>28934743
It is already illegal to collect rainwater on your own property :)
>>
>>28934571
Mutts still believe renewables are just a "Biden hoax" after years of Trump yelling so. These people are destructive to this world.
>>
>>28934742
>Like I said, I’m sure all of the nuclear and solar is run exclusively by people you agree with.
Who even claimed this? But regardless atleast solar and nuclear is run by people IN my country. Not in some inbred arab shithole. That's a huge argument for non-fossil electricity too.
>>
>>28933751
>corporate communism protectionism
>uncle larrys used car dealership

BYD can never be allowed to be for sale in America, it'd kill ameritrash made autos overnight, look at the seethe teslas "not a dealership" causes.
>>
>>28934424
Good luck generating enough electricity to charge a Tesla. In Canada.
>>
>>28934491
So is Coal then.
>>
>>28935138
Renewables are highly contextual to the environment. Not every country has the waterways for Hydro, weather and space for wind or solar especially to provide base load for heavy industry. Australia has everything, but also a tiny population for its land mass (judging emisions in anything other than output/km^2), it makes no sense to not use coal.
>>
>>28933858
Nigga those Chinese cars are subsidized
>>
I'm not poor so I don't care
>>
>>28934693
>Most competitors only profit around $1k or less
There are no other profitable electric vehicle maker. Per vehicle. Only Tesla is profitable.

non-ev car makers have gas cars that have profits in low $1K
>>
>>28935302
nuclear would be perfect for our country, geologically and politically stable, plenty of uranium ore...
