plastic VS aluminum valve coversLets say the car came with plastic ones to begin with but suck ass in terms of 'repairs' as in, needing to be replaced for seals. The aluminum ones come from China.
Chinese made alu ones won't have good tolerances, they'll bow and never seal right cuz they can't make quality shit even if the ccp put a gun to their head The plastic ones blow too, go find a machine shop in America or Europe and have them make you one instead of buying garbage
>>28936584>they hated him because he spoke the truth
>>28936584but what if those Chinese made alu ones are made for a 'reputable' mutt brand but sold cheaper without a name stamp? and the plastic OEM ones happen to be jap made which I would take over mutt made...if they even make it and which would obviously cost much more for no real reason
>>28936591even if they’re made by the same chinks in the same factory, they’ll somehow be worse (no QA/QC when they make the bootleg versions at night). It’s surprisingly not that expensive to get stuff made in the USA if you talk to a competent white guy. More expensive than china, of course, but at least it’ll work.
>>28936593idk bro I cant even recall the last mutt made item I've used. Is it really that much better that I should make new contacts, pay extra for the item + shipping just to get it?
>>28936598Theres a reason the USA and Europe have the best tooling and machining infrastructure in the world. We use the best materialsWe use the best millsWe use the best bitsWe use the best engineering principlesYou buy once cry once with USA/EUYou buy four spares and still roll dice with Chinese slop.Did you know China forces old vehicles to get crushed every 13 years? That means the have 0 incentive to make goods for longevity.
>>28936591All the ones that fail QC get the branding ground off and go for sale on Temu
>>28936601Any Chinese made good doesn't have an incentive to properly QC a product. In an authoritarian regime, you prioritize high volume and quick turn around time. How dare a common worker voice concern and disturb production? -social credit score momentMeanwhile to the rest of the world (Japan in particular) the floor has a incentive to send a defective product back as they might even land a promotion or raise from correcting a wrong before its sent out to the great beyond. I should've added Japan manufacturering alongside EU and USA. They too know engineering integrity.
>>28936600yea not worth the money or the effort m8>>28936601and how do you know this?
>>28936613>and how do you know this? It's standard practice in the manufacturing industry. Products that fail QC are either re/de-branded and sold on or used in lower tier products. And it's not exclusive to the chinks. NVIDIA pulls this trick with your graphics card, when a chips fails QC it has the faulty cores disabled and it's placed in a lower spec card. You should look in to ingredient sourcing in the food industry...
>>28936613Welp, can't save stupid then! Sucks to be you.One can guide a horse to water, but one can't force it to drink. Goodluck sucker.
