What are some good choices if I like short wheelbase, upright, boxy SUVs that look like a microwave on wheels? I'm considering the Nissan Xterra.
>>28937590Xterra is probably the only thing that meets what you're looking for made in the last 10-15 years. If you go earlier than that, Jeep XJ, 60 or 80 series Land Cruiser, first gen 4runner, first/second gen Pathfinder, pre 1990's Bronco/Blazer/Jimmy/Ramcharger, International Scout. If you're in the 3rd world, Arab countries, or Aus, you can get a Suzuki Jimny or Lada Niva. Land Cruiser 70 and Nissan Patrol have short wheelbase options in those places as well.
>>28937605I don't really want anything pre-2000's unfortunately.
>>28937590suzuki jimny jeep wranlger 2dr (gayer but only option if amerilard)
>>28937634Then you'll be driving an egg
>>28937634Scion xB's or Nissan Cubes are about the only things that had any real boxiness to them after 2000, at least in the US. Personally I think they're ugly though. You could get a Jeep Cherokee XJ that was made in 2001, but that's splitting hairs.
>>28937634you're pretty much out of luck then booboo. CRV and Rav-4 had shorter wheelbases than they do now in the early 2000's, but they are very crossover looking, not boxy. if you want a short wheelbase vehicle in a western market made in the last decade, as >>28937656 said, you're getting a compact/subcompact.

Kia Sportage.
>>28937667i'm assuming he's an american since he's interested in an Xterra. we aren't allowed to have 70 series Land Cruisers here because they outperform our domestic pickup trucks.
