is suzuki the only new car brand left that is still worth buying in anno domini 2020+6?
>ShitzukiThey were never worth it
>>28937801If you live in india, sure. there wasn't much reason to buy them against other jap brands in america who built locally and had better part supply chain.
>>28937801NopeThey've discontinued Swift Sport, Alto Works and are about to discontinue the Jimny because of bullshit emissions regs, leaving them with no fun cars at all
>>28937801I love suzuki (I own 3) but them discontinuing the Swift Sport and them only building the Jimny 4 door in India is the biggest heap of shit
>>28937801Depends on where and when you are I guess. They used to offer very interesting cars for very competitive prices. Even when emission regulations started becoming draconian they kept up by offering light cars with decent four-potters instead of bogging them down with toys and 20inch wheels paired with a 1lt three-potter turbocharged grenade(although they had those too for a time). Pretty good AWD systems too.My first car was a 2000 Grand Vitara 3 Door that was a hand me down from my uncle. A thirsty little beast that I regret selling every day of my life. My second was 2015 swift sport that I eventually totaled in a ditch. Most fun I ever had with a car. Now I drive a 2021 swift sport and I daily a 2024 Vitara. Both very decent cars although I kinda preferred the NA in the sport to the newer mhev turbo. And yet I probably wouldn't go for a Suzuki again.>KizashiHurts my soul.>Swift SportHurts my soul. Gone, the new swift is just another three-potter. The EU market is oversaturated with those. Being port injected, NA and manual makes it far more reliable than the competition though. >IgnisGone.>JimnyGone, even its LCV iteration. Used ones go for 30k euro>Vitara/S-crossEngines detuned to 110hp from 129hp in desperate attempt to comply with the new cuckmission regulations. That is the second time this happens.>eVitaraBYD tech underneath.>Across/SwaceGone but not forgotten. Being a rebadged discount toyota is Suzukis future in the EU. Picrel is the most probable update to the Vitara. A vitara body with a toyota yaris engine and transmission making it pretty much a discount yaris cross although a pricehike wouldn't be surprising.
>>28937811>>28937903>>28937906fucking fags seething over not having a jimny lol
>>28938186is that some great value jeep? lol
>>28938204No, it's not a rebadged fiat.
>>28937801Boomer slop. Would ratger walk 100 miles than be seen in oneSame tier as Dacia and Renault>>28938186>muh jimnyThe car they were only legally allowed to sell 10 of in the eu? The one that has a top speed of 70 and should be only used offroad? The ones that are so inflated by redditors they cost more than a land rover?Yeah thats totally relevant
>>28937801>suzuki the only new car brand left that is still worth buyingSuzuki's are great! I daily a Carry 1.3 and love it to bits. In their new range, prices have increased so much lately, I no longer see Suzuki's in Australia as so competitively priced at the moment. In smol cars I'd probably choose a Picanto as they're Au5K cheaper than the Swift. Would love an Indian 5dr Jimny though.
we dont get the Jimny here in the US. Sucks because I really want a small SUV
>>28937801Suzuki has been gone in Canada for a while now.
As others have said all their good models are discontinued and emissions regulations have basically killed the brand. It's a shame but honestly there's no future for them.
>>28937801Suzuki is okay in france, but its absolutely gonna get shot in the head the moment the chinks come in full gear. Atleast its not mitsubishi or nissan who sells thinly veiled renault's larping as japanese cars
>>28938541suzuki is a indian backed company not joking at least in the rest of the world all their low end products are made in india
>>28938571It feels so weird knowing Suzuki are bigger in Hungary and India than Japan, their home country.
