You don't have kids, but you still have to think about capability in snow/off-road, fuel economy, reliability, cost to maintain, towing capacity, etc.. Choose which ones matter to you and which don't, and decide accordingly.I personally don't recommend a convertible though. Anyone old who drives one will look like someone who's having a midlife crisis. Also, in general, you'll look like someone who doesn't know much about cars. Car guys typically go closed-top for sport cars because they're lighter (no mechanisms) and safer in a crash.
