Question for you fags.
What type of car should a 42yo white male, married, no kids, be driving?

I’m thinking a convertible e46 for the classic or raptor for the raptor.

I know. Relax. My wife used to handling small things. She drives a mini.

Yeah I'll bet she is, no wonder you want a truck.

Damn you're old. Get yourself a C5/C6 corvette convertible automatic, a lawn chair, and some jorts.

Why not get a 2 seater if you're not going to be using the back seats any time soon? Buy an MX5 or something and enjoy having few responsibilities.

>42, married, no kids
You should be planning on a vehicle with easy access for a car seat for your new toddler.
Otherwise youre a failure as a human and should emigrate to Canada and apply for medically assisted suicide.

The car you drive should be based on your needs, your income, and your preference.

You don't have kids, but you still have to think about capability in snow/off-road, fuel economy, reliability, cost to maintain, towing capacity, etc.. Choose which ones matter to you and which don't, and decide accordingly.

I personally don't recommend a convertible though. Anyone old who drives one will look like someone who's having a midlife crisis. Also, in general, you'll look like someone who doesn't know much about cars. Car guys typically go closed-top for sport cars because they're lighter (no mechanisms) and safer in a crash.

$200k is suspiciously cheap for the amount of fabrication that should go into something like that.

a thread died for this

It's based on the Jeep Gladiator/ Wrangler 392 so they have a base vehicle and a parts bin. But there's clearly a lot of custom fab, clearly it has 3 axles.

This is not like a Singer restomod with actual engineering, it's like a West Coast Custom bodge job.

I love the 392 but for 200k I would at minimum expect a redeye motor
