All I ever wanted is a small affordable long range electric car and the EV3 is finally coming this fall in Canada (would have preferred the EV2 tho) but I keep reading about how all Hyundai/Kia electric platforms still have ICCU failures bricking the car. Is it that common? Will all of their cars experience a failure during their lifetime or is it just a few lemons? Sucks to be a small car fan in north america...

afaik the failure rate is pretty low but if you get a car where it does fail, they take forever to fix anything and it can fail again.

It feels like they are all ticking time bombs and all will eventually fail which sucks so damn much it's the perfect form factor 99% of my driving is less than 20km
