>Honda Civic Poorspec37k euro, non negotiable.>Mazda 3Fully specced, 37k euro, negotiable.>Corolla2lt engine, top trim, fully specced 37k euro, negotiable. The fuck?>cartuber says the civic isn't really comparable to those but to an Audi or similiar.>A3 sport sedanmid-specish 36k negotiable. What gives? Is the Civic really that superior to its competition to demand such a premium?
what about a Kia K4? much nicer than those alternativesyou get much more features for your money if you check out the spec sheet
Elantra N you dingus
Unironically yes. The *current* generation is greatly superior to the competition. Sit in one vs a Mazda 3, Corolla, or A3 (lol), and it'll become apparent.
>Honda CivicCan put a wing on it and pretend it's a Type R>the othersCan't pretend it's not a commuter appliance.Simple as.

>>28942724Honda isn't performing well in Europe, it has 7 models wanting to compete in the SUV market which is actually saturated with these types. Their entry model is the Jazz which isn't getting much traction because Hyundai, Kia, Toyota, have cheaper options. Plus, Civics used to be affordable compact cars but now they have become luxury because getting close to the 40k range means opting for German brands.
>>28942771>I bet kiahoon has something nice No gooksucker, it's just evs and 1.6lt turbos as far as the eye can see. Even the N line was dropped a couple years back.>what about a budget carThe thread is about a specific "budget" (since when is 40k euro budget?) car and how it compares to its competition.>It has more toys for the money!!!!!Gookshill, the point of the thread is that EVERYONE has more toys for the money. Pls pay attention. >>28942735>Sit in one vs a Mazda 3, Corolla, or A3 (lol), and it'll become apparent.I have. I didn't. I would appreciate it if you elaborated a little.

>>28942884>almost 40k for a civicgrim
At this point, the Civic is essentially occupying the market space (and the physical space) that the Accord used to. It's not the little econobox it used to be, it's basically a legit midsize sedan now.
