Its a good thing I grew up in Metro Detroit and got to watch the early 90s Red Wings steal all the elite USSR talent once the shit hole collapsed. I got to hear first hand from the defectors how much of a backwards pos it all was. Ironically enough Im very fond of modern Russia now because of it.
