Are ES300 Hybrids any good?My mom (71yrs old) wants a newer car since her Camry has 300K on it.My mom and dad have been test driving 5-7yr old models.And she absolutely loves the es300h.I'm not familiar with hybrids at all.I know the ES and IS cars are decent, but idk about the battery stuff.
the v6 is way betterthe 2.5 engine is rough on its own and the battery is not especially capacious
>>28944474Your 71 year old mom is not gonna be driving for very much longer. either sight or reflexes or something else is gonna make it unsafe for her to get behind the wheel.Either get her Camry refurbished to the point it's like a new car, or buy an older ES 300, hybrid or not, she will most likely get 5 years out of that car, you can probably get her a 2010-ish ES for about 12K used and 100K in the odometer, the car will feel the exact same as the newer ES 300s since Lexus rarely changes the ES and IS models from the inside, as a mater of fact it's one of the main criticisms of the ES/IS series, that despite having multiple facial changes on the body style, their interiors remain locked to the late 2000s/early 2010s

>>28944474I drive a '19 Camry Hybrid as my daily. Great car - the ES300h is just going to be nicer in every way.I'm at about 70k miles now and the hybrid system has been flawless. No issues with battery and I live somewhere very hot.
