Why are Meximutts like this? Is it to compensate for being short?
>>28945391But they make those shorter. And they buy the shortest wheelbase models.
Not everyone makes their entire lives revolve around their insecurities. You do so this sounds weird to you but sometimes people just like shit
>>28945391That’s an objectively good looking vehicle and functional for the needs of labourers. Perhaps you should find some use for your living breath as well instead of being a racist shill at /o/.
>>28945391>Cheap>Fast>Fun>V8>Body on frame>Reliable>Utlilitarian>ComfyWhy is this bad?
>>28945391I actually wonder why more trucks aren’t lowered. if you’re never going to take it off road why not have the bed closer to the ground so it’s easier to load and unload?
Lowered trucks are based. Lower bed height to get your stuff in and out of easier. Lower to get into and out of the cab. Better MPGs. Worry less about scraping on a low ceiling or tree branch. Easier to wash the truck at home. Whats the problem with lowered trucks again?
>>28945415>Utilitarian>Reliable>Cheap
>>28945432NTA but what are you doubting? A pickup truck being utilitarian or reliable? Cheap is subjective, but that may be because you're poor.
>>28945399>>28945415> objectively good looking vehicleHere in America, if you see one of these, you know you're in a shitty low income neighborhood
>>28945394And yet they're still taller and longer than an average car It should be illegal for shitspanics to drive trucks, they kill people all the time in them
>>28945417>>28945419it's not a REAL TRUGG that can go rock crawling and sink 18" under the weight of the BOULDERS I'm HAWLIN>>28945432yeah I guess GM wouldn't be reliable with all their engine and transmission issues, but you can get used ones pretty cheap>>28945433>I made my car look 80% better by absolutely blasting the saturation of the after photo
>>28945417As our nice digits anon above pointed out: more guys like the idea their truck has the capability of going "off road" (on that one rutty dirt road near their cousin's house) and that it can take 1 or 2 pallets of sod right off a fork lift. In reality nobody does it but it does make them feel better. I live in Texas and just looking around in traffic the number of 4wd lifted high trim level pick trucks are everywhere. The number of times people ever take their trucks off road and turn on 4wd for legitamate use is maybe once ever. I asked a dude with a brand new Platinum superduty, he's told his workers nothing but costco items go into his truck bed. >>28945444I think it was a cloudy day versus a sunny day. Its also lowered 2.5".
>>28945417>>28945419To lower it you have to modify the rear suspension. Unless you're doing it with bags then this means the rear has less travel which is going to significantly reduce your towing and hauling abilities. Also because trucks have such long wheelbases and overhangs, angled driveways become much much more difficult compared to an equally lowered car
>>28945456>To lower it you have to modify the rear suspension.Depends on the specific truck and the suspension from the factory. Some leaf spring packs can just be installed on the bottom of the axle. Some just need different coilovers. Some are more complicated. I've never recommended air bags: its a horrific ride, air leaks are like chasing down electrical gremlins, and it has some silly wiring involved. Plus on top of that you often cannot haul as much weight either. But it can get lower if you just want it to be a looker. >angled driveways become much much more difficult compared to an equally lowered carThats my current hesitation (plus the overall cost), I don't want to hear my front air dam or rear bumper scraping. Not that I intentionally go to steep places, but there are some shitty roads around here that have insane approach angles on public roads.
>>28945433Heated power seats, air conditioning, electric windows and an "infotainment" system are hardly my idea of utilitarian. Yes a truck has utility, but that's not what utilitarian means. And I guess I'm just a poorfag because a starting price of 37,000 is not my idea of cheap.
>>28945459>Heated power seats, air conditioning, electric windows and an "infotainment" system are hardly my idea of utilitarian. So you hate comfort when using your tool? You don't think a truck should be comfortable at all when working manual labor?
>>28945459>air conditioning>hardly my idea of utilitarianYou know that Singapore attributed its economic development to the widespread adoption of AC units? Why would being in discomfort be more utilitarian? You're conflating these two things probably in an attempt to portray yourself as more masculine or whatever lol. >And I guess I'm just a poorfag because a starting price of 37,000 is not my idea of cheap.Yeah you are are poorfag. It makes sense now.
>>28945520sorry that bugmen need a/c to work. you're not supposed to be sipping lattes in your truck, you're supposed to be working.>Vossen HF6-1 Hybrid Forged wheels>utilitarianlmao
>>28945546>sorry that bugmen need a/c to work. What work do you think is being done inside of a truck?
>>28945556The kind where I record myself jerking my 3 inch weiner off with the mayonnaise from a big mac
>>28945520>wasting money means you're richlol
>>28945562That's a totally valid profession and no one should tell you otherwise.
>>28945459anon working in comfort as conditions allow means less mistakes, less stress, less burnout, and eventually higher returns. do you buy fast fashion "boots" because they're cheap and you're no rich city slicker, or do you buy boots that are comfortable for hours on your feet every day because that's how you make a living?
>>28945439>low income neighborhood>vehicles <10 years old
>>28945397True. Only pickup drivers do.
>>289453915'5", 250 lbs beaner who drives these large trucks. I legit wonder how California's accident rates isnt higher
>>28945459Anon even the most rat fucked humvee has AC(on paper). If you’re actually working in austere environments air conditioning is absolutely vital
>>28945720>>wasting money means you're richThats literally what it means. But yeah keep coping about how akshually warren buffet drives a 1992 corolla and only broke nigs want to own cool things or something
>>28945766unironically yes
>>28945391They dalits of the new world. Their workers of low station and can't afford tesla, jaguar, toyota etc
