my 70hp shitbox has a hard-cut rev limiter from the factory
>>28946317Okay? Why are you driving a car with less power than a dirt bike?
So it's too old to have throttle by wirewho caresWhat makes you think this is better or worse than a modern car that just closes the throttle for you?
>>28946329my kia has throttle by wire (I think) and it will bounce off the rev limit sometimes, but sometimes it shifts a bit too soon, but not if you have it floored, then it will go to the limit I thinkthere's a rather complex programming to it that I don't fully understandKoreans spend a lot of time making complicated software they are sort of the German engineers of convoluted complex software to control car functions. Sure wish the engine didn't sound like shit. Drove a BMW for 5 minutes and nearly cried. The price you pay for a non-firm ride!
what the fuck are you even driving
>>28946327>>28946329its fun, all my cars have had soft limiters so far>>28946336
>>28946332>The price you pay for a non-firm ride!swap the rims out for the smallest ones that can fit over the calipers then increase tyre profile to match the original diameter
>>28946339If i had tons of money I would change the wheels out to like 15 inch wheels or whatever the smallest that could fit over the brakes, which I assume are around 11 inches or so. I have 17s so they aren't too big, but maybe the shocks or coils are the issue? I just want PLUSH. I got all terrain tires that are chunky for rough roads so that probably doesn't help much either, my point is EVERY bmw has a firm ride and (almost) every kia has a softer ride in comparison. >>28946338I recall having an Acura TL with a hardcut rev limiter. That was a nice V6. Honda is stupid to not put their V6 in more things.
