Kia is quickly rising as the best car company in the world. Their basic cars feel premium, and they make the best EVs. The upcoming Tasman-based SUV is elegant, rugged, and truly exciting; and their upcoming truck will make Toyota weep.

Just as Korean pop music has captured the American imagination, the quality and expressive modern machines made often in America are capturing the hearts of the vital American public.

Yeah but their engines kinda blew up for 15 years straight and that's still ongoing while warranty rejection battles are taking place

I know someone at work trying to find a sucker to sell his 3 year old KIA to because all the fucking dashboard lights are coming on.

Also, killed in action is the name of the company??
>>
>>28947559
a 3 year old kia would still be under warranty so that doesn't make any sense.
>>
>>28947547
those were mitsubishi engines and they don't sell those anymore

These engines are blowing up before 20k miles in the santa cruz. Looks like they're still in use m8

you aren't really proving this is a common occurrence

It's intermittent and the dealer literally said it's not a problem, the codes 'all cleared'.

I know this concept is foreign to you having dealt with mostly honest people across the world, but companies can just lie about giving you a warranty and then tell you to pound sand when their shitbox breaks. The koreans are famously known for this.

If it was me I would've used my own scan tool and documented it before the dealer could clear the codes, but I think he just wants to be rid of the car because it's such a piece of shit.

Kia's recall cont is quickly rising even more as the most defective company in the world
>>
>>28947786
Yeah because koreans are fucking scammers and do this kind of shit regularly.

Buy japanese if you want to deal with honorable asians.

Toyota has been dealing with exploding engines for its v6s and has blamed machining dust for years now instead of admitting its bearings are faultily specified.
iirc the 1.5 engine Honda uses has had its own issues
>>
>>28947824
So maybe the problem is really just greedy jew companies that only spend money on advertizing instead of engineering, R&D or QC? Maybe finalizing the sale is the only thing they care?
>>
>>28947830
All car companies are somewhat shady, it's a relativistic calculation. I simply feel Toyota is more predatory than Kia in how it treats its customers.

Those horrible people, tempting customers with cars that last more than 5 years.
Who else sells cars as short lived as kia/hyundai?
>>
>>28948601
Oh shit they last 6 years? That's crazy in today's age.

It's why real cars are 10% more expensive than korean cars. They last 300% as long.

What car is that? I don’t see it on Kia’s website.

koreans are just slightly more sophisticated chinese people, once you see it as that, then you get it
korea is the best of chinese cars

The problem with Koreans is the same as Japanese, both are failed American experiments after their respective wars. They are satellite states to a dying empire.
>>
>>28950207
Korea is their own thing. They've always had a coastal empire regardless of it being under Korean control or not.
