How many times did you fail your license test?Did you ever just drive with just a learner's permit or nothing at all?
Not only did I drive with just my permit, I got caught while doing so. I was about 16 back in the mid-00s when I first got my permit and I just bought a clapped out S13. I took that S13 to the backroads for some tohgay pretending like I was Initial D. I spun out and ended in a ditch with the rear end off the ground so I couldn't back out of the situation I got myself in. Less than 5 minutes after a cop car turns up, 5 minutes after that a tow truck up. Like shit, the cop remarked what kind of stupid luck do I have. The tow driver offers to use his winch to pull me out and did so, less than 5 minutes on that too and everything was good. Right as we were all about to go our merry ways the cop asks "Oh, do you have a your license, insurance, and registration? I need to write up this interaction." That's when I knew I fucked up. I confessed I only had a permit and the car was still uninsured and unregistered. The cop went back to his car for a few minutes then came back with two options for me, get arrested or tow the car, receive the tickets, and go to court. I towed the car to my cousin's house (then drove it home lol) and went to court, after completing my license test as well as registering the vehicle and acquiring insurance. The judge dropped driving with no license and unregistered vehicle but kept the ticket for driving without insurance and enforced sr22 insurance for a year. The mid 00s were a different time
I did not fail, I guess I practiced enough
>>28947572Nailed it first time.Cars are easy peasy compared to motorbikes, they're just a tad wider.
8AM the day I turned 16. Early 00s.100 on the 30-question computer test. No marks off. Was in a manual and she make me parallel park on a hill, which isn't normal for my city's tests. One hundred percento. Not particularly hard in the black belt, this isn't a brag.Drove out of there and immediately did redline runs and went 120+ mph before coming in late to school. I'd been waiting my whole life.
>>28947572Poland is the worst place to get a licenseMutts have it so easy
>>28947625Come on down to Alabama. The test is maybe 2km and involves one red light and 2 stop signs, the whole thing is at 25-35mph and half of it is in a quiet neighborhood. That's all you have to do, it's fucking ridiculous.
>>28947572>How many times did you fail your license testonce. mostly bs questions.>Did you ever just drive with just a learner'snice try glowie.
>>28947572I did not fail. I got my learners then I practiced a lot, then I passed. Same story with my pilots certificate which was far harder than my driving test ever was.
Only failed it once because there's two intersections on the route that look similar, but one has a stop sign and the other had a small tree shaped like a stop sign
>>28947577And this is why you'll never own a s13 in current year. Thanks genX.
>>28947572failed 2 times (Australia)first time in a country town because I was stressed and it messed with my sense of time. I normally take corners fast, but I kept taking them so fast there that the rears were stepping out.second time was some inner city garbo-test, apparently I "caused a catastrophe or potential catastrophe" because I drove through empty spaces in an empty parking lot. TBF, I did cut somebody off at a roundabout later, but that was after the "catastrophe". The brownoid tester said "but there could have been cars there". Yeah, and the traffic lights could have been red, want to ping me for running a green light too?Next time passed with the same country town assessor, super chill.>drove without permitkinda. I had the permit but no supervision when I learned to ride a motorcycle. I realised the fine if you get caught was cheaper than riding lessons, and I was never caught.
once failed parallel parking
>>28947572Drove around with an expired license for something like fifteen years?
>>28948304Never failed a test though...
>>28947572Once, because I did the test in my car and the horn wasn't working since I forgot to plug it in while putting the steering wheel back on.Dumb as fuck given all the arranging and appointments I had to do, the stupid fucker could've just said "yes".
>>28947625Some say you just have to put sufficient money in the correct hands.
First time, for one mistake, catching up to a yellow on the way out of the parking lot.
The first time I passed the written test with 100% but I stalled the (manual) car twice so automatically failed.I didn't fail a second time.
>>289475720. Passed on first try. My evaluator even told me to speed when we went onto the highway. He had a thick eastern European accent and went on for about 5 minutes talking about how unsafe it is to go the limit on busy roads. Before getting my license I used to drive with nothing at all, but it's common here where once you're tall enough to reach the pedals and see out the window, you drive drunk dad to and from the bar, and mom to and from bowling at 11 years old.
I passed the first time because I have no gag reflex.
>>28947572nope, I scraped by on my first trymy parallel park and three point turn were rough but serviceable, and the rest was so good the guy didn't have the heart to fail me
>>28947572>How many times did you fail your license test?Passed it the first time. Was not sober. >Did you ever just drive with just a learner's permit Yeah how else do you """""learn to drive""""? My parents or a friend with a full license were present though. I had a few friends try to drive themselves on a learners permit and it did not turn out well.
Once and it was because I did not have 2 hands on the wheel at all times. Second time was goodNow I realize it's all a sham, the objective now is basically make your own rules as long as you don't get into an accident or get caught

>>28947656>Driving a plane is harder than driving a carBullshit.
>>28949798You wouldn't think so but there is not stopping in the air in a fixed wing. Plus you have weekend boomer flyers who don't pay any attention who will fly right at you no fucks given. Flying is so much fun though. Remember when you first got your licence and were able to go anywhere, flying is that but even better.
>>28949803Planes is hard job
>>28947572Passed first try. My evaluator was practically blind, leaned so far forward I couldn't see my right mirror. I think she was just a free pass because if she failed anyone they would just complain that she wasn't fit for the job. The test is a joke in the U.S.
>>28947572Passed first try. The inspector just chatted me up the whole time, I think since I was driving a manual she was planning on me stalling/having rough stops and starts, so she was impressed when I didn't do that. The only thing that was a problem was the three-point turn, my podunk town's DMV had you use your own vehicle instead of a standard learner car, and I had to take my dad's longbed pickup. The road they had you go to for the three-point turn was a really narrow residential street, not wide enough for two cars, and my dad's truck was too big to do it in three turns. She said it was no problem because I did everything else correctly, and told me to take her back to the DMV, where they told me I passed.
>>28947572Zero times (I'm American). I drove a lot with my learners permit so I was totally comfortable on the road test. Biggest issue was getting the 17.5 points of documentation correct, had to leave and come back, twice lmao.
