My car's oil (fully synthetic) recommends a change every 10K miles, or after a year, whichever comes first

I usually only put 6000-6500 miles on my car in a year, and it feels like a waste to change the oil after so little driving, so how far past a year do you think it would be safe to go before changing the oil?

you are supposed to use eggs instead of oil in those cars. thats why theyre called "eggshit"

Change it every 6 months at the longest.
Your engine is not a perfectly sealed system, water and other shit can and does get in there.
Oil changes are extremely cheap compared to repair costs (or buying a new car), especially if you do it yourself.
They are also a good opportunity to rotate tires and inspect other things (brakes, hoses, etc.).
99% of modern vehicles will treat you well if you treat them well.

this, your car will last a lot longer if you perform regular maintenance. it's not hard to take a few hours checking all of your wear items and fluids and replacing them if needed. it'll save a lot of headache down the road.

retards who follow manufacturer guidelines are almost as stupid as retards that do 0 maintenance at all
>oil changes at 16 thousand kilometers

Just get an EV if the idea of proper engine management bores you.

Yep.
Range Rover has a 21k mile (34k km) / 2 year oil change interval for 2.0L turbos pushing huge SUVs. Why? To sell you more cars, of course.
Turbo? 3-4k miles, lower end of you drive hard.

3,000 miles for regular, 5,000 for synthetic was what I have stuck with since I started driving.
>>
>>28948854
If I get a coupon for a $20 oil change, 3000 miles. If I do my own oil change with full synthetic, 5000 miles.

I don't like engine swaps when I can just swap oil
