you can go anywhere in a honda
>>28949112 that 900 has NOTHING to do with GP anything kek, the shit is a poverty spec engine down to every single nut and bolt
supersports are the Harleys of the sporty bike world>form over function, hurting your wrists and back just so you can LARP as Rossi while cruising down the highway next to a Nissan Micra>"look at me" by revving to 17,000 and being the loudest thing for 5kma naked bike will be faster stoplight to stoplight while also being way more comfortable and less gay
>>28949150>faster stoplight to stoplightImpulsive lane switching NPC kek, why not line up for a dig or a roll? Also when I say dig I mean a race where you leave first gear
Its official, I have outgrown i-4 engines. I got this GX and now all I keep thinking about is my Triumph Tiger and its triple.Thought it was a meme when manufacturers said “we gave engine more character” FML I want my Tiger backWill keep GX for one season and getting Tiger 900 next year
>>28949159you should try Tracer 9
>>28949159serendipitous post, as I was contemplating giving up my Tracer 9 for the GSX-S1000GXlove the engine in my Tracer but would love 30-40hp more. but from what I've read, the Tracer is better in every other way
>>28949162CP-3 is still pretty smooth. There’s nothing like a growl of a tiger.Holy fuck I fumbled hard
>>28949171maybe time to go harley route if you want just engine with wheels how about panam?
>>28949166The GX is a pretty great bike.I grew up on i-4’s so thought thats what I was missing, the 150HP. However there’s a certain element to how Triumph makes its triples which is just very hard to find in twins/i4’s Try out a 900 before you make your decision.
>>28949174I’ve heard the panam inperson and it just sounds ugly, the motor doesn’t have the sweet sweet whistle of a triumph.Think im gonna retire with a Tiger
>>28949177my two potential upgrade paths were the GX and the Tiger 1200. the Tiger 900 seems like a downgrade based on less powerall 3 seem like a lateral move. more power but also heavier, and a lot more expensive (considering my bike is probably worth $10k trade-in, and a GX or 1200 would probably cost me another $15k on top of my trade-in)
>>28949184I think when you’re on a Tiger 900 with a 19 or 21 inch front wheel you won’t want speed. The handling, braking, down-shifts on that motor is what’ll make your experience memorable.Make no mistake the linear torque and power on tigers will still throw you back in your seat. It wont feel slow one bit, and I’m saying that coming from the 850 sport (detuned 900) with 84hp and I’ve had 2 generations of R1’sIt never felt slow because its not supposed to be a race bikeJust a very fast ADV

>>28949334It's like asking people to share their boxer bikes. It's going to be a bunch of middle aged dentists who with permanently empty side cases wearing goretex. This sounds more hateful than I mean it, but live a little, guys. Leave the side cases at home and wear something other than the Marrakesh, gentlemen.
>>28949150I didn't know exhaust sound was decided by having plastic fairings or notWith the same pipe a sport bike is actually quieter in every way except potentially intake noise if it has a yuge airbox compared to the naked because it muffles more mechanical noise.>>28949159The only character a triple has is 24/7 fart noise, 25 of those things on a race track at the same time in Moto2 is the greatest sleeping aid I know.
>>28949348I thought ATfags are at least little less GSdad?
>>28949353Sure, it's less Goreman/McGreggor-core. But for travel bikes, lets not act like the middleweights aren't the most robust market segment right now, and cost 2/3rds of an AT, and half a 1300gs.
It's all coming together
>>28949348Bagger and goretex is peak, you know nothing summer child
Anther race week and anoter Zhang Xue Moto W. That makes 4 wins now. How are yamaha fags going to cope with getting beat by a 2 years old company.
>>28949370BASED!!! mango box and everything.

>want a nice quiet Shoei like everyone else>doesn't fit my weird ass head>settle for an Arai that while comfortable is very loud and ugly.
>>28949442If you hear anything in your bike except your own unsilenced full titanium system you are gay.
>>28949442AGV is for round heads.Ask any shop for a hat that fits you. At $10 an hour they'll find a $1000 thing that won't fall off. Then if you're a cnut you can go and get one online that UPS will stamp on and kick over a fence.
I just love carburetors. Nothing yet has convinced me to make the switch. I’ve owned many bikes and all have been carb’d and I don’t mean to switch to EFI. Maybe i’ll fall in love with a fuel injected baiku some day but until then I’m happy breathing in carb cleaner fumes every six months kek
>>28949453Nothing wrong with carbs, everything wrong with efi.
>>28949458>>28949453Based.
If I were looking for a KLR.. man, that’s a vibe.
Can someone give their honest take, especially if they rode both of the following bikes:Moved across the country and had to leave my CRF300L back home. Where I live now it wouldn't be well suited. I want a new bike but I'm debating whether the 2026 CBR650r or RS7 would be a better fit. Part of the issue with the 300L back home was that it was very limited if I ever had to do highway riding which I typically avoided because the poor thing felt like she was being overworked. Where I currently moved to there is plenty of highway driving and people here aren't exactly doing the speed limit, having some extra juice for merging from highway onramps would be important to me. Anyone have experience with the e-clutch, is it as great as some of the reviewers make it out to be in areas of lots of stop & go traffic? The R7 seems to have a much better compliment of electronics compared to the Honda. Also the shorter wheelbase and lighter weight, the bike appears to be more nimble. My experience with motorcycle's are one season with the CRF300L & MSF. If it matters I'm in my younger 30's and generally cautious driver/rider, I avoid acting like a squid. Thank you.

>>28949499my first “big” bike was a 1997 CB super four. Prior to that I was on a 125. boy did it teach me how to ride
>>28949480There is no fucking reason to buy the R7 unless you want to Rossi LARP, and then you already know what you're buying.
Been a no-bike for like 8 months now. Owned 6 dual-sports and a few dirt bikes. Kinda burned out on dual-sports. Only so many places to ride off-road in the Islamic caliphate of Britain. Don't know what boike to get next.
>>28949508Something fast. I upgraded from a KLR650 to a Ninja and genuinely couldnt be happier. Not getting blown like a topsail when a truck passed in the other lane is very nice, too

I want to make a Death By Throttle or DBT plate frame, any suggestions or requests?
Hi guys. Can anyone recommend an in-the-ear bluetooth earbud for riding?Issues:I wear a hearing aid but not while I'm riding. It is fully in-the-ear and not noticable. That's the form factor I'm looking for.The problem is all the ear buds I see now are bulky. Slide the helmet on and it pulls the ear bud our/off my ear.The ones I used to have were wired together and I'd loop the wire over the top of my ear to hold it in place. Sometimes it did, sometimes not. But it was still bulky. So a truly, 100% in the ear solution would be nice.
>>28949642Top part where it says racing development have it say Death By Throttle then have DBT on the lower portion where it says WAT Would be pretty clean, could also make a baukon weeb one too with all the characters on it
>>28949668>could also make a baukon weeb one too with all the characters on itthats how you get sued >>28949642>any suggestions or requests?yea kys
>>28949672>suedI'm not telling you to slap their character names on it. You'll be fine just keep it lowkey.

>>28949453They just make the whole thing sound right and I have no tolerance towards the idea that there might be any lame nanny in-between. I'll just pretend that carb balancing is a meme and ethanol clogs are not real while I still can.
Dear Shoomer diary blogposters,I successfully renegotiated the piston clearance tolerances timeline with my two adeptus mechanicus brosI guess honder nikasil coatings are 5mils and thats way thicker than 3 mil kawaiisaki or the unknown department of forsaken yamaha (paraphrased from the honda mechanicus)Im only missing the key ingredient of crocus cloth for polishing some aluminum bits, and finishing up thee minor cleaning process Then i will attempt the topend rebuilds process probably around tomorrows and the crf450rl can finally awaken from sleepy hibernations timeBut even after its rebuilt, the grievous task of reconnecting his nervous system electricals and remembering which bolt where and how to connect hozes- that is truly the part i dont wana fugupI hate electrical combonents so much its unrealAlso going to skip the thermostat delete since this isnt dakaar racing timelines, but rather the frozen oblastIts just gonna be a cunt to get that particular portion reinstalled, the frame between the cylinder head and the thermostat sticking out awkwardly does not lend itself to a peaceful and easy retrievalUJM and harley accessibility is a forgotten art of building the motorcycle- but i cant really blame dual sport copers for trying to make a dirtbike streetlegal Its probably way easier to take a factory dirtbike and make it street legal than it is for the dual sport from factory fuckaround with its bloated electronics and cram it all into the subframe assemblyWhere did it all go so wrong, engineerium brosWhy cant we have nice accesible things to work on?At least this isnt a diesel block or modern cager cope session, i would probably just give up unless i had the boomerwaffen supervisor's direct instruction and proprietary tools from forgotten erasAnyways bros. I have officially graduated wrenchlette school and am off to the final examinations: wether or not i will have another asploding incident upon first sparkieHopefully notIts been a fun ride
>>28949480I like my R7, would recommend, haven't tried the Honda though. I got it since it was basically an MT07 with fairings to keep me out of the wind. Pretty easy to work on, fairly popular so parts and aftermarket are abundant. It's definitely nimble, position is a bit aggressive but not committed so if your not used to it it can hurt your wrists till you get the hang of using your lower body more. Ive never felt lacking on the highway, and since there's torque everywhere I've basically never stalled it when I was a new rider. >>28949499I would have if it was stateside, I adore the styling. Ive been wanting to get the 919
What are your thoughts on the KLX 650?
bum cancer awareness
Hit 200 miles today dialing her in. Got the suspension just about where I want it for the street but I need a higher spring rate shock sooner than later. Clutch cable was pulling the bike to the right hands free, fixed that. Still waiting on a few parts.>>28949480>The R7 seems to have a much better compliment of electronicsIf you're talking about the 2026, yeah. It has the R9 electronics package, which is derived from the R1.But the bigist thing you need to know is the R7 has a much more committed seating position. The R7's clip-ons are under the triple tree and swept down, whereas the CBR650r clip-ons are over the top. R7 feels like it was designed to be an entry level track day bike you can ride on the street, and it qualifies in a lot of twins class club racing events with a few safety mods. In fact that's where most the R7's new electronics are focused, for example you can turn off rear ABS or how the cruise control has a pit speed limiter function. CBR650r is a more road focused sportbike.
>>28949729How do you like the updated electronic package on the 2026? Intrusive? Has it saved your butt, are the different ride modes noticeable?
>>28949140I rode a Honda Mango for the 2023 season. I've been meaning to make a video about it with the pictures and footage I got while I had it. But long story short, this is the most "I just want A motorcycle and I just want to ride a motorcycle type" bike I've come across. It's reliable, smooth, fast enough to be fun, comfortable, generally just nice. It's also dogshit for customizing, and lacks both the character of a sportbike and the character of a cruiser. If you are an introvert and just want to ride a motorcycle without any of the attached drama, this is the bike for you. But splitting the difference between sportbike and cruiser perfectly down the middle is far less interesting than you would expect.
>>28949786Disagree. Those magnas have unbelievable amount of sovl. Literally no crusier revs as high as that V4 (which is a rare engine on its own, let alone packed in a crusier) It's a crusier, not a sport bike or trying to be one by any stretch of the imagination. It's a middle weight, if you can't appreciate the nuance of a mid weight machine thats a solid all-rounder (by crusier standards) then of course you won't find it interesting. Glad you didn't make a video because it wouldn't be an accurate one from how you frame the magna.
>gundam bucjrt is over 1000 syrup tokensIll never be cool
>>28949819Hmm, maybe youre right, wait it out until they determine what next years weeb buckets will look likeIts kinda hard to tell if the gundam green is off-color to my 2019 zx14r green blackAnd idk if color matching would be a good idea if im being tempted to sell the zx14r
>>28949800I almost got the Miku one but thankfully it sold out pretty quick. I probably would have never actually wore it. The Gundam one is pretty cool too but its sold out. Guess this means we're getting more weeb helmets with how well they're selling.
Okay I change my mind. GX is a fucking hoooooooot
