Mom said I get to be the OP bike today!>>28951460 #First time I've done it myself. Unless you really want to push the miles just take it easy and stop about every hour to stretch, get a drink and top off the tank while you're at it. Get a headset for your helmet and put music, podcast or whatever on (with earplugs to block wind noise) and don't zone out too much on straight stretches. I'm in the US, but generally if the backroads aren't shit take those routes, they're longer but more interesting and relaxed. Don't hesitate to check out tourist traps and other things that catch your eye.

Air cooled single cylinder is the most aesthetically engine.
Sup /DBT/.I own Yamaha XJ6 Diversion F 2011, non-ABS and it has 2 problems. Both problems started ~2 years ago, I own the bike for ~4 years.I'm ESL so please bear with me.Problem #1:It vibrates so fucking much 6-9K RPM that my fingers & toes go numb from the buzz from handlebar & pegs.It happens even when bike is stationary, with engine revving. What I tried:-Tightened engine mount bolts: 2 big straight through and 2 from each side on a bracketThere are no rubber pads that I can see on the bike or parts catalogue, I assume Japanese just rawdog steel frame directly to engine.-Taken out and cleaned injectors, I didn't notice any difference in spray patterns.-Checked coils & spark plugs: they were fine, gap, color, residue, coil cap tightness etc.-Throttle body sync, bought the 4 manometer kit, there was no significant difference to begin withThat didn't help. I've changed handlebar to a thinner aluminum one with heavier bar ends, put on thicker soft grips, padded risers with neoprene pads etc. it got slightly better and I could tolerate it if my hands were the only problem here.Problem #2:1 inch dead play in front brake handle. Caused by #1 I assume. Before front brakes properly engage, I have to depress the handle halfway. Then it meets proper resistance and it is nearly impossible to press it all the way to the grip. The bike stops, but I feel like it's not as good as it was before. It used to skid on emergency brake a little and I had to "pump" it due to lack of ABS, now I just press down and pray it's enough. The bad part this already happened ~1 year ago, I did what I could before taking bike to a service where they told me master cylinder is dead, the piston was all loose in there. So they replaced it with one from FZ06, that's what on photo. But the same shit is happening now a year after. What I did:-bleed brake line completely-leave handle depressed for the night-check for stuck caliphers (they're fine)-change padsAny ideas?

>>28951548Do the brake lines look fine? For me, this extra play started for rear brake, I had that pos cylinder or something replaced twice and its back I think. Also, is the engine running on all cylinders? Are you running with new air filter? Could the issue be speed instead of the RPM? Does it smooth out post that RPM? Are the wheels balanced? Is tyre wear even? Have you serviced your front forks?
>>28951548>vibrates so fucking much 6-9K RPM that my fingers & toes go numb from the buzz from handlebar & pegs. That's called sovl, faggot

>>28951574So much for my reading comprehension.
>>28951569The brake lines look fine, I just got steel braided ones and will try replacing default ones on weekends.Engine is running on all cylinders, the residue on spark plugs is even and water evaporates from all 4 exhaust pipes near instantly.I have replaced air filter together with cleaning injectors, two weeks ago.Speed can't be the issue as bike vibrates when revving it stationary. It smoothes out in a sense that vibration becomes so high-frequency that it doesn't feel on my hands anymore but if I touch the cylinder on handlebar, I can feel it being fucked by vibration.Tires were balanced last year and front tire was replaced, tyre wear is now even.Front forks were serviced 1 year ago as one began leaking.>>28951571Well I don't want that sovl. It wasn't sovl for 2 first years, why sovl now? New OEM cylinder is ~200-300 Euros, I don't want to replace it every year. Also I used to own same bike before, even same year but black. It was fine I could ride it for 6 hours and there was no violent vibes like that.It had 28mm Nekken clamp & handlebar though. For current one I bought some German clamp & 22mm enduro aluminum handlebar since it was the only one straight enough for my ergo.Which was fine for first 2 years.>>28951572I inspected the brackets and didn't notice any cracks.Exhaust is original and I tightened muffler mounting bolts to spec.I lazied out of checking exhaust to engine mounts because I had to take all plastic & radiator off. Do you think it's worth it?~32K miles on ODO, I did not do valve adjustment and I doubt previous owner did considering status of air filter & spark plugs after I got it.Do you think it's worth a try?>>28951572The vibes appeared 2 years ago.1 year ago cylinder died and was replaced.now 1 year after that, cylinder is dying again.I never found solution to vibes and replaced cylinder to not die riding the bike. It's all OEM and I can see lever engaging piston, it just doesn't do anything for 1"
>>28951548for the vibes resynch your throttle bodies to make sure they are timed right, it should help but there will always be some vibes.your brake is from fluid not returning to the reservoir when you release the brake. take apart the master, change the seals and make sure the ports and lines are clear.
>>28951584>I want to see more scoots.do chappy count?
>>28951589>for the vibes resynch your throttle bodies to make sure they are timed rightI did. They're in sync on idle, at 6-8k RPM is a different story. I don't think it is possible to sync at both idle and target RPM at the same time.>change the seals and make sure the ports and lines are clear. So I need something like front master cylinder repair kit/ Is All Balls stuff alright? Would an 05 Road King be good first bike to learn on?
>>28951655Harley boomer is a boomer. Stay mad.
>>28951664Bruh, get a rebel 500 or a rebel 300 if you are set on a cruiser. Or you are super short. If you are a normal person, get a CB300R or a CB500R. There are tonnes of other good bikes, but when you drop a harley, the replacement parts are going to rape your wallet.
>>28951672This one comes with a drop guard so drops shouldn't be too much of an issue. And I can get it for around 3k. But thanks for the suggestions. I really have little knowledge on motorcycles
>>28951684It is quite powerful and heavy, consider something beginner friendly. Get something that won't turn your leg into pan cake when it falls on it.

>>28951672Normal people don't cuck themselves with baby bikes.>>28951558I've had the opposite experience, it's just been hotties on Hondas back to back to back. There was 1 r3 woman though.

>>28951664I love my Road King but I don't think it would be a good learner bike. It's not that they're difficult to ride, it's that they're very heavy and large. I think for a starter bike you should have something light. The Road King is like 800 lbs or more. You're not going to have fun when you drop it.

>>28951734Japan didn't need protectionism to succeed and thrive internationally. Harley needed it to survive domestically. If your company needs as much protection from imported competition as Russian VAZ - it's a piece of shit.

>>28951755there is no arguing, protectionism is realpolitik not red vs blue sportsball.>>28951764>>28951764>Japan didn't need protectionism to succeed and thrive internationally.they didnt have anything to compete with post war. they intentionally hampered international competition to develop their domestic industry. yall act like japan was born in 1965 with the big 4 already the big 4
>>28951542air cooled V, whether transverse or longitudinal is hard to say>>28951704japanese government used to treat their industries, especially important export industries, just like china does today, with very very cheap access to capital. they also engaged in pretty strict protectionism themselves. The harley protectionism is also overstated. The tariffs also didn't last very long, it's not like we're talking about the chicken tax here. Phased out over 5 years. In my experience, there aren't any japanese cruisers better than the competing Harleys. They WERE much cheaper because Japan was a bombed out husk with very low labor costs. Everything is labor costs. Look at the LIRR strike going on in NYC right now. 75% of their budget is ALREADY labor. Look at how manufacturers went from Japan, to Hong Kong, to mainland China, to Vietnam, to Cambodia, to Pakistan.
Japan had protectionism policy because we dropped 2 suns on them and they had to rebuild. No shit they're gonna play defense and focus strictly on their domestic manufacturing infrastructure. It's like the masses collectively flunked history class.

>>28951816I say this with kidness, but what the fuck is the point of these vestigial ass brims on the ADV helmets? >>28951841You can never have too many zakus. I use them for customs and conversions. I was thinking of putting a zeon decal somewhere on the bike but I worry it may be misinterpreted as some sort of actual supremacist symbol and get my bike kicked over.
>>28951664The Road King can qualify as an "end game" bike, it's bad for a first bike because of its weight but not an impossible task if you're physically strong, proficient with a manual transmission already (in cars), and are familiar with bicycle dynamics (those skills transfer more than car handling dynamics). Now you don't need those requirements but understand you'll have a significantly more difficult time if you're a weak person with no manual transmission and no bicycle experience. Again, not impossible, I have friends and family who've learned to ride without any prior experience at all. Even though my dad taught me how to ride on a csr650/4, I still got myself a cb125s as my first bike.>>28951704vintage Japanese cruisers right now are still undervalued but there's a lot less good deals now compared to last year, the used market noticed good listings are being bought fast. I'd like a Harley but the used market is asking for nearly double for a comparable Harley over a Japanese cruiser. Part of why Japanese boomer cruisers are still undervalued is because this is a market segment dominated by boomers who believe if it's not a Harley then it's Jap Scrap but really some of them are quite special. As a born and raised American hafu, riding a made in USA Japanese cruiser just fits me.>>28951735>I get the feeling Harley's are not well like around hereI like Harleys, I want a RoadKang myself but I'm a poor mango man and mango money ain't enough for a RoadKang but if I did have the money desu I want a GoldWang more

>>28951948Hold on, is the truck turning right? Even so it doesn't matter, he has a triangle, so he has to yield, "hand signals" mean fuck all in this situation as they are not mandated by road rules, unless given by law enforcement or road work crew.He has to yield, you can go because you have the right of way, whoever made this test is a fucking retard and the reason even cops nowadays don't know road rules.

>>28951962See, that's wrong. It does not matter if truck goes straight or turns to his right because we are turning left and must yield always. However in the question the truck flashes his lights signaling us to go first.
>>28951981>It does not matter if truck goes straight or turns to his right because we are turning left and must yield always. He has a to yield sign, you don't, so you have right of way.Isn't it the same thing as coming from a "major road" to an intersection. If both roads were equal then yeah you'd have to yield.
>>28951985What you need to look for is the race of the driver. If it's an indian driving that truck the right of way means nothing.
>>28951985Yield sign was not visible on the screenshot sorry about that.
>>28952005Ah yeah in this case you yield. If memory serves it's always signs, lights and other foems of traffic control first, then "right of way" as in shit coming from the right goes first and so on.

Bros I think the SS1250 might be shot. They never called me, and when I called them today they gave me a run around.>>28951548isn't the XJ6 a rubber mounted engine? You might just need to swap out the motor mounts and any rubber pieces it sits on the frame.Bar ends only dampen, but the mounts would help a lot more. Though if they were really shot, your engine would rock side to side. For the brakes, check the lines make sure there's no kinks, or leaks. Use something that causes vibration when bleeding to force bubbles out and replace all seals on the master. A lot of times the bleeder is bad, at least on cars.Things go bad with age, even the metal.
My w800 chadfe recently hit 13k miles. How urgent is it to have my valves adjusted? The bike seems to run fine, no obvious issues besides backfiring due to running lean from my aftermarket pipes. Also, how much of a difference in performance would it make having it tuned?
>>28952055If you have a matching higher flowing filter to go with the exhaust, a tune can optimistically bring 5-15% more donkeytorks
>>28952033>isn't the XJ6 a rubber mounted engine?Nope. There are no rubber mounts on parts diagram and there is 0 gap between engine and frame mounts from inside when I checked. The 4 smaller bolts that go into brackets were torqued to spec when I tried them. The 2 long straight-through bolts gave me 2-3 full wrench rotations before spec torque click. But that changed nothing. Now I did not take out any engine bolts to see if there is maybe some rubber on the inside of frame, pressed into it, but I am 99% sure there is fuck-all there. It's a really budget bike and Yamaha cheaped out on a lot of components to make it affordable.Every chatbot I tried suggests there are supposed to be rubber engine mounts too, but it's not on parts catalogue, I can't see it any on my bike, so I just assume there aren't any.>vibrationI saw the tik-toks about this.Maybe It's time to get one of them percussion massagers. That's what I saw people use. Or maybe I can some assymetric head for my impact driver. Thanks for idea.

Also I'm not interested in liter bikes, I want something comfy to commute with.According to German law, I need a full set of protection gear to attend driving school, but my school is BYO. I have no idea what to get, what to look out for, etc. Also while I've already lost and am still losing weight, I'm still kinda really fat and won't be normal weight / size until 8 to 12 months from now. What do?

>>28952074I was you and I bought wrong stuff first.1. You open kleinanzeigen and buy Alpinestars pants and jacket for the summer (!) season. Ask sellers if all protectors are included. 150-200€2. You buy new but cheap helmet, boots and gloves from Louis. 350-400€3. Ask driving instructor about intercom and buy it off kleinanzeigen. 100-150€4. All your gear must have either EN sign or a small rider on a bike sign. Ask sellers to take a photo.
>>28952074If you are asking advice on a bike,Any 400-600cc that you like that's not much over 200kg, you can put both your feet down when sitting with knees bent, fast enough to be enjoyable but forgiving: 50-70hp maximum. Mine was Honda CB500 and it was ideal. If you're asking advice on gear.Buy warmer (all-season, waterproof) gear now, you can put layers under it later when you slim down, for cold weather riding. I have 4XL Komine jacket and under it, I fit windblocker jacket, a running long-sleeve shirt and a body layer of cotton. Similarly with pants, in cold weather it fits standard windblocker lining that came with them, and 1 extra layer of thermal wear. With a touring windscreen, overhand warmers, USB-heated soles and winter helmet chin curtail - I can ride until roads freeze over for any duration of time. When I can be assed to put on what essentially becomes a deep sea diving suit for 40 minutes. If you need advice on dieting - start keeping records of your weight & caloric intake daily. Make an excel table with date, weight and caloric intake. Make another for caloric intake: dish, net weight, kcal per 100gr, number of portions & final kcal. Then sum it up and have your daily caloric intake. Then figure out exact kcal that is your 0 level with no extra physical activity aka how much do you need to eat to keep your current weight, without losing or gaining. The Lexin LX-FT4 Pro finally arrived and my initial impressions are that it operates the same as my old Sena S60 unit. It even has a flashlight! Button controls are nearly identical to the Sena and the changing LED strip is similar to the Sena. I'm convinced that Lexin and Sena both use the same circuit board but come in different packaging. They are both made in China, probably in the same factory. Now I've owned Nolan, Cardo, Sena, and Lexin. In that order.Lexin: Still new but so far I rate it as the best.Nolan: Basic, compact, does the job and still works after almost ten years but the battery life wasn't adequate for my lifestyle.Sena: Was great while it worked but the right speaker cut out after a few months of use. Got that speaker replaced under warranty but it did it again a few months later. So Sena must be shit. Simply inferior hardware.Cardo: An Israeli company. The rubber that covers the buttons cracked and wore away after repeated use so it's not waterproof any more. I can't risk using it now because if I get caught in the rain my head might explode. Also, did I mention that Cardo is an Israeli company? Yeah.tldr ratings:Lexin > Nolan > Sena > (((Cardo)))

>>28952451I agree with it, generally. To me, the speed has never been the appeal of motorcycles. It's just the feeling of being on a bike, the physics of how the machine works, and how you just feel so connected to the world and the bike and nothing else really matters. With a slower bike, you get the fun of changing gears and you can go wide open throttle with much less chance of killing yourself.
>>28952457nta, but dirt bike anon. I agree as well. Like with my YZ250- I absolutely LOVED the torque and raw power. Don’t get me wrong it’s awesome. >>28952451Not all slow bikes are fun to ride fast. A fun slow bike might not be fast but it'll still be quick
>>28952074If you really want a commute bike that's comfy first and foremost, with passenger included, then the RE hunter 350 is a good option, they aren't quick by any means, but the seats for doing even a long travel are probably one of the best out there, specially for your passenger. YET, there's always the option for you to just buy a 20-40eu gel cushion seat, it will make reaching the ground a bit harder, but if you ride a regular street bike, should be no difference.IMO, as usual, getting a low to mid cc dual sport is the best you can do, CRF 300 Rally, KLX 250 or 300 and similar ones are just great for learning, besides doing offroad usually requires low speed and good control of the clutch. And more importantly, its easier to get up from a fall at 20kph on grassy dirt vs 90 on asphalt with the chance of now some towelhead retard hitting you over there.Prioritize MX boots even over a high quality helmet, lower leg injury is the biker's bane.>What helmet to get?Since now all helmets must be ECE 2206, I would say any, hopefully a one piece integral one, but if you aren't sure and need a better rating, check the UK SHARP rating test, those are like FIM testing afaik. For me its about a year that I got picrel, and yes, buy used, my choice was cuz my roads are crap and I ride more in outskirts anyways.>>28952090>Buy warmer (all-season, waterproof) gear nowIt is much better to buy a summer jacket that is one size larger if possible, for winter you just put on first layer clothing that hiking fags wear, and for the rain, there's always the poncho, yet for a newbie, its best to stick to going on the cage for now.

I realize these are Euro hours, but I'm going to disagree. The only motorcycle gear worth buying is leather.Otherwise just squid.Make sure you have gloves and helmet, and I've had more bruised hips than anyone else, but any gear I've owned that isn't leather for the colder times, I've ended up giving up because it's either not comfortable or just annoying.Again, except for gloves and a helmet.Maybe boots too, but I find boot comfortable, so..
Retard newbie here. I need a bit of advice. Earlier in the year after a tyre replacement I tried to take off too fast at an intersection, my back wheel slid out and the bike hit the ground. Right mirror was a bit cracked, brake pedal was bent upwards and had to be replaced, couple of scratches on the fairing, not really a huge deal. Didn't really notice any wobble in the wheels or anything, as far as i can tell a few scratches were the only lasting damage to the bike. I hurt my knee a bit though which took me off the bike for a few weeks.Anyway, I've been back on for a few weeks now and ever since then the bike feels weird when I take off and manoeuvre at low speed. Kinda feels like I'm riding through mud? Like a little wobbly, feels kinda sticky, not really sure how to describe it. It feels like I'd imagine riding on flat tyres feels. What could be causing this? Or is it just in my head?
>>28952579Check your brake discs for warping. Jack the bike up and see how freely the wheels spin.Your forks might've become miss-aligned too.Check your tire pressure again, you might've torn a sidewall or something. Also just check your chain alignment. Maybe your rear wheel became cockeye'd.Could just be in your head, there are also a few things that could be wrong with the bike.Your handlebars could also be like 3mm's off, subconsciously fucking with you (this has happened to me before).

Then just don't get fat.>>28952587I just ordered same ones too because I don't need 2/3 of the standard levers.>>28952720Any sport 600cc sport touring would do for your needs. My suggestion is pick one with monolithic seat (not separate driver & passenger seat). The separate ones are always too tough for long rides.>>28952608>>28952610I failed first two practical exams lmao.>>28952612Yes, also training bikes are almost always clapped to shit.>>28952713I'm a manlet so I'm jealous of those that can ride it. I tried to ride tall adv bike and it fucked up my hip for life by city traffic light stops and leaning weight onto one leg.>>28952728>>>Dont buy a Chinese motorcycleThat's correct, it shouldn't be your first bike. You can buy cheap chinese enduro if you have a trailer/pickup for it and a garage to disassemble it every month of use.
>>28952740Post the welds on your chinese bike please
>>28952741>I'm a manlet so I'm jealous of those that can ride it. I tried to ride tall adv bike and it fucked up my hip for life by city traffic light stops and leaning weight onto one leg.I'm a 5'7" dwarf and the 450 MT is just fine for me, it's relatively low compared to other bikes of this kind.
>>28952741>I haven't seen one that is decently covering lower back and ass and I want it snug and protected from wind even from behind.Look for jackets with attachment points for connecting on to your belt.
>>28951541you should have said>man i would suck a nigger dick for some sketcher riding boots
>>28952742I don't even need to see welds. Him simply posting a CN bike he owns would be a seachange for little pink hearts.
>>28952742Don't be a fag, everyone is absolutely raving about this bike and has been for years. Chink bikes used to be the cheap alternative, but they learned to get it right without inflating the cost and taking obscene margins like western/jap brands. Take the KLE 450 from Kawa with its piss poor 180deg engine placement and non-adjustable forks. But hey, it has electronically mapped riding modes!
>>28952750Do you own the bike or not?
>>28952751I'm buying one tomorrow. Tried it out a few times, also tried out the BMW 450GS, which sure was nice, just not 2500 extra bucks nice.
>>28952752>Huge shill for chinkshit excited to ride it for the first time
>>28952754>posts in bike thread>doesn't actually like bikesLike clockwork.
>>28952752Well, post about it. It certainly would help to know the actual cool points and the warts, rather than people jacking off over spec sheets and youtube reviews. There are things only owners really understand.
>>28951541You should have just killed him to save us the misery. God I fucking hate boomers.
>>28952743>5'7" dwarfAnon that's stolen valor, you could ride most bikes if you wanted you are not a true manlet chud
>>28952714Wdym
>>28952756I own the bikes I post about. I don't throw a fit to defend chink bikes (which you have never ridden and don't own)
>>28952740Cringe and wrongpilled>>28952757the cool points are the spec sheet. the wrong stuff is the real stuff, like how its made in china. they make their doors out of newspaper.
>>28952747Thanks for advice.Though I'm fat and good on jackets, so won't be looking for new one anytime soon.I'm a fan of Komine and have summer mesh jacket + pants that zip together, and a oversized winter textile one that fits thick liner and windbreaker under it. I have some US brand moto jeans with kevlar and black moto pants that I patched up twice after falls. My personal discovery was that if your pants don't zip to jacket and you want them to stay secure in case of a slide - get a tough security/police belt. >>28952743I honestly thought it's some Yamaha adv bike from the thumbnail.Where I live Zongshen, CFMoto and a lot of Italian-Chinese brands like Morini, are very popular. But I only ever used Japanese bikes and heard bad things even about European brand ones, so I am very biased against CN.The enduro ones like Lyfan are okay, if you reassemble them yourself, loktite everything and change gaskets to quality ones. Most failures come from shitty assembly because it's done locally by dealers/small factories. But I personally wouldn't invest in anything bigger than 250cc.
>>28951541I used to like maximum protection moto boots, with full plastic armor shit like torsion protection etc. but then I got ingrown nail on my toe 2 times in 1 summer and had to switch so something more spacious. It's leather and has plastic inserts around ankle, that's it.
>>28952762The wrong stuff is that none of the 450 twins I have ridden have enough fucking mid/high end torque to continue pulling past 75mph worth a shit. It's bonkers that a2 has created this dead zone for anything able to overtake semis in a sharp fashion on the highway, and yet something like a t7 or a vstrom 800 are considered a death machine for new riders. It's fucking infuriating, but clearly I just want teenagers to die or something.
>>28952767Why not ~600 twins? Vstrom 650 and Versys 650 have plenty of juice to overtake semis sharply. I used to own Versys and had not trouble with it on the highway, except giant-ass windscreen and soft suspension lifting front wheel after 100mph.
>>28952763Just workout and eat good. Its that easy
>>28952720fz6 are pretty great, its got a detuned r6 engine so if you move to one later youll already be pretty familiar with tinkering on it
>>28952770650 twins are dying or dead. Vstrom 650 got discontinued this year. Sv650 too, I think. I assume the versys is on borrowed time as well.
>>28952774Damn, that's sad to hear. Why? Some eco shit again?>>28952771I work out so I can eat more junk food. Eating good gets fucking boring. And more importantly, it's a chore to cook variety home dishes yourself to avoid food fatigue. I only keep weight under control because I don't want to buy new size of moto gear.
>>28952777Oh, you're retarded. Gotcha
>>28952779Being smart ain't going to cook me healthy home meals every day.
>>28952780Just get a harley like fatwing
>>28952777Emission and noise, as always. Fucking whatever. I never liked the shim-under-bucket twins anyway, because adjusting the shims inevitably meant removing cams. I'm still so fucking salty we never got the Honda xl600v here in the US. Whoever made that old Transalp worked on his own shit when he designed it.
>>28952067Remove yourself from the gene pool>>28952065Stop using industrial strength autocorrect for research, dummy.>>28952115Based>>28952121>How did he not pee in his pants? He probably did.>>28952451What they really mean is it's more fun to ride on the limit. It's safer, cheaper, and legaler to do so on a slow bike. But nobody actually likes to go slow. Outside of bracket racing and maybe hypermiling, there aren't any enthusiasts in any form of motorsport that modify their shit to go slower. I wonder why?>>28952601Yes, you bought the bike. The principle remains though. It's a small amount of effort on your part that benefits common man. This principle is what makes every country built by whites excellent. You do enjoy living around white people, right? >>28952612>Does it get better with more practice?Yes. Keep trying, do meaningful practice, get a good night's rest so your brain can process it to long term memory.>>28952713Chinkshit. No reason to buy from the inferior nips>>28952742To be fair. Don't look at kawasaki welds lol.FYI coastal Carolina is officially BOGGED for the season
>>28952781I'm fine with my JP inline 4, which is more than 200% my bodyweight. Also your "eat good" is complete bullshit: caloric deficit is the only thing that matters. What and how you eat isn't important, you can lose weight on a diet of haagen dazs and cheezeburgers, as long deficit is maintained.>>28952782>TransalpLol there are a lot of old transalps here. I start to notice new Africa twins too. No Teneres so far.>>28952784>>Stop using industrial strength autocorrect for research, dummy. It's fine for looking up aftermarket spare parts and mods model numbers. Shits itself on more obscure stuff though.
>>28952067Don't the fork rubber thingies serve a practical purpose if you ride a lot on gravel roads?
>>28952784Yay carolina
>>28952786You're fat. Nobody is gonna listen to you
>>28952451The only people that hold this opinion are the ones that remove muffler on 200cc chineseium bikes and keep me up at night with their ass explosions on downshifts at 3AM.Higher revs can be more fun, but you can just shift down on a faster bike instead.I also find winding roads at 55mph more enjoyable than 12 lane highways on 130mph. Because trees, bushes, mountains and other shit on the side of the winding road is closer to you, your perception of speed changes down. Conversely, on a wide highway that had area cleared around it for 300 meters in both sides, you don't feel the speed at all and you have to put speedometer down to feel it.
>>28952787Yes, the gaiters help extend the lifespan of your fork seals. I don't know that anyone knows by how much though. I don't think the old rotax GSs came with them, for example.
>>28952791>You're fat. That's how I know more about weight loss than your retarded ass that still advises to "eat good" instead of "eat less" and "exercise more" in 2026. KEK!
>go look at bikes>they're all blackI miss colors
>>28952819i was just thinking how there arent any white motorcycles anymoreother than cruisers but who cares about them

>>28952849>>28952819We use rattlecans and glitter to achieve our BOLD NEW COLORS here in deebeetee
Why Suzuki-chan is busty?
>>28952849I've done that too when I was younger, of course it looked like absolute garbage because I used the same paint brush I painred the fence with. Same paint to boot.>>28952851This, rattlecan paintjob is the right way to go.
>>28952860>>28952851I think I'd get actual automotive paint, personally.
>>28952861They use the same shit "professionally" as in rattle cans, just a different way of applying it.
>>28952862Automotive paint is absolutely different than 5 dollar spray paint.
>>28952862Coal and diamonds are literally the same shit, just a different way of applying it.
>>28952868It's not even the same shit. This guy seems to think there's only one kind of paint and that all paints are the same.
>>28952859Helps cornering during leaning thanks to the added frontal mass Flat is more aerodynamic, which helps for top speed runs.
>>28952869I know, a friend of mine is my state's best car painter.

>>28952877Fuck bro, I'm gonna tell him he's a fraud.
>>28952741>>28952784Ok, thx. I've been quite lazy for the last few months so with daily rides I should get better.
>>28952819maybe you should buy kawasaki or ducati
>>28952797Post yourself, nobike
>>28952861Rattlecan jobs are fine on older bikes, you just have to apply it correctly and be willing to repaint it every couple of years. Back when I had a shitbike I'd have a different color scheme every year. I enjoyed that. You can also do spray wraps if you're averse to risk. If you don't like the color changing aspect you can buy "tractor paint" because they are very durable, much more than regular spray paint, you just have to like the limited color selection based on tractor brands.
>>28952819HELL YEAH BROTHER
>>28952920You could just get a spray gun if you're doing that much painting. They aren't that expensive.
>>28952789Dat boi securing the strait of homoz
Do you know any good ways to vibro-proof handlebar?Picrelated are are neoprene pads in some gorilla tape, under raisers.I'm getting raisers that clamp to mount and bar with different bolts, so my handlebar doesn't rotate under pressure, but that's about all I got.

>>28952953Fucking hammered the weights and my best lure into my handlebars by accident.
I just immediately assume that anyone on a 300-700 crotch rocket is a faggot or woman. Anyone on a gs1200 a richfag, and anyone on a Harley a fat retard. Do you guys have any immediate assumptions about riders based on their bike?
