uhh how much is this gonna cost??
I cant help but wonder wat this would look like without the weird ass batman wing
the wing looks so tacky its ridiculous.
>>28952706Are any of those vents even real?
>>28952703>auto onlyMcDonald's status?
>>28952703If it's over 60k (base corvette price) it's DOA
>>2895270No one cares and no one wants one
>>28952703Raped by Corvette
>>28952709Do you really have to ask?
Will cost $300k because muh nippon supercar economy folded 1000 times, but will perform at $100k 911 or Corvette levels
>>28952703>uhh how much is this gonna cost??Base model $150k, top tier version $250k+.
is this thing even going into high volume production or is it going to be a limited homologation run of 300pcs or something
>zero headroomthanks for nothing. t. 6‘8“ crypto whale who was interested in buying one
>>28952703They said matching Mercedes GT
It will be hard to get and poorfags will seethe like usual
>>28952703The new accord is looking great. And if you have to ask then you can't afford it, they're only making products for the K shaped people now.
>>28952790if you want a japanese hybrid super car buy an NSX. according to doug who is a tall boy himself, it is the most comfortable car he's driven outside luxury GT cars.
>>28952844>just buy this hideous 5000lb piece of shit
>>28952863isn't that what the OP is?
>>28952866We don't know the curb weight of the GR GT yet. But, given that it isn't advertised as being electrified, it doesn't seem likely that it would be 5000 lbs. The GR GT is just a traditional RWD twin turbo V8, no electrical motors or extra batteries anywhere. Now the new LFA being built on the same platform, though... that thing's gonna be pigfat as hell.
>>28952844wait the GR GT will be hybrid?that’s a big ol yikes from me dawg
>>28952790Stop being a freak.
>>28952889https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_GR_GT>Kerb weight 1,750 kg (3,858 lb)>Hybrid drivetrainit's just a front engine NSX, and weighs the same as one.
>>28952891Why did you think it wouldn't be when everything else in the industry is?
>>28952790Donate your shins to some short king in need
>>28952703It's affordable (to arab sheiks) at only $180 thousand
>>28952793LOL
>>28952709On the GT3 version it probably is.
>>28952844Mid engined cars look weird as fuck, especially these riced out ones, the engine needs to be in the front.
>>28952703How's the hood that low? Won't this kill BLM protestors?
>>28952895In ok with front engine hybrid. at least you can change the spark plugs or timing belt without dropping the whole engine.
>>28952703Long wheelbase, overhangs, low ride height and incoherent design at the hips. Cool front and rear though.
>>28952703I think to start after dealership markup it'll be $250,000. They'll all be sold before they're all put on a truck for delivery. Its this eras LFA. LFA was a laughably stupid car with mixed feelings on styling at the time, but that engine note was phenomenal. The performance was excellent, but not chart-topping. Very ingenious tech for very specific tasks that may get refined to every day cars. They're already super cars, they'll be super rare and an occasion every time you see one, nobody will remember or care about the bench racing performance in 5 years.
Its a homologation car, when was the last time you saw a homologation car on the street?
>>28952703Overpriced as usual
>>28952703Can this beat the GTR??? Need to know asap
>>28953025no one who makes enough money to buy these waste their time wrenching on them. only to not know how to work on these highly specialized vehicles and grenade their own engine. there is a reason you can't just service these kinds of cars at bubba's work shop. even if you can reach everything.
>>28953364wrenchlet take
>>28953367show me the exotics you worked on.
>>28953368....dude it's just nuts and bolts lol

>>28953364>dude just be scared of machines like i am
>>28953377you're scared of mid engine so you're already scared of machines.
>>28953377HIGHLY SPECIALIZED OKAY!!!! YOU CANT JUST WORK ON IT ITS DIFFERENT
>>28953378mid engine is ugly as fuck and makes the engine hard to access and admire. Fr looks the best and has the engine in the correct place.
>>28953380>mid engine, okay. you can't just work on it, it's different!
>>28953381>if the engine is in the front it must be easy to access>has never heard of Audi (literally takes longer to access the engine on an A8 than it does the NSX)lol
>>28953382It is different and ugly >>28953383Wrenchlet
>>28953385you're a wrenchlet, though. you've already established that.
>>28953386cope
>>28952703apparently it's a mass production car coming in at porsche money. which porsche i have no idea.
>>28952897>Why did you think it wouldn't be when everything else in the industry is?because the industry isn't. everyone is going back to ice and hybrid, not hybrid and ev. the new alpina is a pure ice car, with an unassisted v8.toyota takes too long to do anything because it's always done in committee. by the time they've finished consulting with themselves the market has moved on and they're five years behind. they've basically just adopted the ev paradigm and europe is going back to combustion. lol.
>>28953396>toyota takes too long to do anything because it's always done in committee.Dumbass wrenchlet and ricer
>>28953396>everyone is going back to ice and hybrid, this car is ice and hybrid.>europe is going back to combustiongiven their increase in chinese car purchases, I don't think so. america may be going back to ICE, but europeans continue to gobble up chink slop. all this means is their automakers will eventually end up bankrupt. which I am all for.
>wrenchlet take>....dude it's just nuts and bolts lol>wrenchlet>mid engine is ugly as fuck and makes the engine hard to access and admire. Fr looks the best and has the engine in the correct place.>It is different and ugly>cope>Dumbass wrenchlet and ricer
>>28953416lol so this is what wheel gap spic looks like
>>28952703300 grand is my guess
>>28953148I saw a Pajero Evo of all things on the road recently.
>>28952706>>28952707all these fucking slick-posters talking about they don't like the spoiler can go buy a fucking Lexus>>28953125speaks truthso they're gonna make it an inline 6 with a fat fucking turbo on it right?I'll also accept a big v8/12 with twins and toyota reliability
>>28952778lol it’s a Toyota. Should have aimed at corvette. They think they’re Porsche now? Becuase they DNF’d one time ahead of Porsche and almost won?
>>28953448Toyota wants to pull a Ford with the Mustang GTD and that car was a smashing success. problem is, nothing in the toyota lineup has the same iconic image. they could've used the Supra name, they could've used the ceilica name. hell, even "GT" is more synonymous with Ford than anything else. Ford can call something "Ford GT" and it'll sell out instantly. "GR" isn't nearly as iconic and despite toyota having won endurance championships and le mans itself their motorsports division just isn't iconic enough to sell cars like this.just like the LFA, most of these will be bought by dealerships and sit on lots for over a decade.
>>28953426>all these fucking slick-posters talking about they don't like the spoiler can go buy a fucking LexusRicer, wrenchlet
>>28953457>all that text>nothing about the engine and drivetrainyea im thinking youre a ricer and a wrenchlet
>>28953396>europe is going back to combustionYeah thats why the M5 is pure ICE. Oh wait..
>>28953457>The final 4 LFA were taken off market in 2019.Interesting
>>28953399>this car is ice and hybrid.>this car is ice>but also hybridnigger if you stop and think about this statement you'll realize you're retarded too.>given their increase in chinese car purchases, I don't think so.chinese ev production is collapsing and they're trying to dump cars on the euros. stellantis just walked away from their multi-billion dollar electric investment as a fucking write-off with no ability to recover investment. vw is restarting pure ice production because it's fucked. because, it's fucked. >>28953522>Yeah thats why the M5 is pure ICE. Oh wait..the alpina is pure ice. oh wait..
>>28954475are you suggesting that the existence of an electric motor means it isn't an ICE powered car, dipshit?>chinese ev production is collapsingaccording to who? last I checked, chinese car sales are still strong.>stellantis just walked away from their multi-billion dollar electric investmentsounds like they can't compete. bankruptcy is on the horizon. >vw is restarting pure ice production because it's fuckedyea, VW itself is fucked because they can't compete, either.any car that wants to be competitive in performance will need electric motors. any car that wants to be competitive in emissions and fuel efficiency will need electric motors. there is no going back to diesel shit for europe because those will never be dominant like they were because of diesel gate and europeans can't into reliable gasoline engines.the collapse of the european auto industry will be beautiful.
>>28952703I don't see the appeal. It will be an expensive car for a basic make that I think will be a headache like a lot of modern cars are.I, for one, would save some money and get a Morgan Super Three Wheeler or even look into a manual Plus Four grey market import, if I was in the market.
>>28952707Not really
>>28953386>>28953385anyone that talks like this has never done any manual labor BTW Go outside, Timmy.
>>28952703$300kYes, shilled as a "drivers car" made for the driving experience but is priced like a collector's car made for the sits in a garage before being flipped for 2x the cost because all of the models produced were bought up before they left the factory experience.
>>28953125the lfa had a huge advantage in its sound, what does this generic twin turbo V8 offer that a panamera, zr1, lambo, aston doesn't? inb4 some retard says you can service it at your local Toyota dealer as if they'd even agree to take on that risk or buy diag tools and employee training for it
>>28955122I would more sooner buy the most expensive Timex at Patek Phillipe prices before I turn to toyota for a GT car, you know what I mean?
>>28955127Speaking of forced artificial memes, goyota wanted to force 'the best' sound before the engine was even made. They hired yamaha, yet again and said 'just make us sound original senpai'. A total faggot form over function board decision. Imagine trying so hard your foremost engine design mandate is 'cool unique sound'.Most real engine makers get a cool sound by incident, because of REALLY cool engine tuning, but toyota begins with astroturfing a relatively useless metric. Fags! Also LFA (Loser Failure Auto) killed its own lead engineer because its clumsy poser junk. Never fagget
>>28953125>after dealership markupThis is what will kill it immediately on arrival same as what happened with the nu Z
