I've broken two breaker bars trying to get axle nut lose. I've even got a milwaukee 1900nm impact wrench, all it did was round out the axle nut.
Why is life so hard sometimes? I think that's all I can do, I don't have and never used acetylene torch, so a shop will have to fuck with this.

You unironically should have probably researched harder. There are some non-US cars that only have 2of4 center nuts reverse threaded. Some that have all 4 reverse threaded.

The trick is to pre-load it a bit before you start going ham on it. I trust a breaker bar over an air tool.

same deal with my upper control arm ball joint. 2m cheater bar wouldn't break it loose. took it to work, one of the guys had a big fat fucking 1500 nm cordless impact that zipped it right off like it was nothing

Stop using a half inch drive breaker and get a 3/4 + pipe/extension
