>That will be €75,340 ($86,400) + extra for winter tires

Not far from a million bucks for a standard ass sedan that happens to be electric. Just what the fuck are they smoking over there at BMW?
>>
In Europe, especially the UK, BMW have a strange pricing strategy in which you will end up paying about 20-25 percent less than the sticker price. They’re heavily discounted. This doesn’t even require any negotiation with the dealer, it’s quite open and they’ve done it since the early 2000s

With discounting and agressive financing they’ll be as much monthly as a Tesla Model 3. Don’t know how much they’ll be in the US but in Yurp no one is paying close to sticker for a BMW
>>
>>29038186
Even with the supposed discount (that won't exist the first year), you're still paying €60k for a standard sized entry level sedan. It's ridiculous.

It's not even a BMW anymore.

>>

Name even one aedan that gets that range you dumb fuker
>>

>the only downside of an EV
Whatever, I can get in my 2,300 lb miata and have a great time. It doesn't handle like a giant brick that requires $350 / each tire to function.
Road trip? Takes 1 minute to refill.
Only EVfags even think about range.
>>
>>29038692
434 advertised ev miles is like 217 in the real world. This just might possibly get you through a weekend trip to the state park without dying.

Nobody asked but enjoy your 'sports" car that gets blown the fuck out by a Honda Accord

>>29038704
I will. I'm not scared of gas stations. It takes one minute to refill so range isn't something I consider.

Just so everyone knows Im jacking off right now

Unless you're boosted there's no point, better to have rock hard Amazon tires so you can do skids easily. Actually, now that I think about it, even if you're boosted I'd still suggest running rock hard chinkshit tires so you can do skids easily.

>wanting to skid instead of more grip
You're brown

The i3 has like 900km WLTP range which is about 800km EPA with is 650km in worst possible scenario. Let's face it, the i3 solves the range issue. Shame it's so expensive.

Sure with 200k km on the clock and everything squeaks the moment you go above 70km/h. Toyotas are even more overprised than BMW these days.

how tf is awd 450 hp D segment premium car with 113 kwh battery a standard entry sedan

you can buy a corolla or mazda 3 for around 30k entry sedan
>>
>>29038825
Its a 108 kwh battery, even in middle of winter in rain you can get 300 miles out of it with i4 real life consumption
>>
The pricing strategy is weird, yes. i4 is being sold at 58k - paying 75k fot i3 seems like a ridiculous proposition.

I'm not sure if the Germans have made an implicit agreement on not to produce an executive sedan EV at a reasonable price. Even a VW ID7 - an EV passat - is like 55k. At the same time you can buy same size crossover around 45-55k. i4 having zero competitors for five years from Europeans is bizarre since Merc/BMW copy each others product lines nearly instantly.
>>
>>29038165
>Not far from a million bucks
>>
>>29039450
>>29039443
The i4 is also a way better car with actual physical buttons and a reliable and tested ICE platform. It's also roomier and has the superior sportback opening.
>>
>>29039489
I converted to my own banana republic currency in second paragraph without clarifying, my bad.
>>
>>29039450
we had this last thread
first, burgers are getting fleeced, the i3 is way cheaper in europe
second, the initial selection doesnt have the poorfag drive trains, so the 66k i3's equivalent is a 64k i4 with worse specs. and that i3 btfo's everything vw has to offer, beats a 80k a6 in numbers
>>
>>29041009
My numbers are European numbers, i3 launch is like 76k in Finland

youll be able to pick these up for under 30k when the warranty runs out
>>
>>29041090
i checked that its true but not entierly.
The i3 production starts after summer shutdown just now, to prevent high demand and long waits they are starting with high trim "first edition" only at first. Then in september you can order the i3 50 with 480hp in poorfag trim for 65k. Entry level with smol battery will not happen this year and propably start at ~48k
>>
>>29041095
Lol how the fuck do these cucks drive a 100k miles in 4 years but fucking live in this piece of shit
