The pricing strategy is weird, yes. i4 is being sold at 58k - paying 75k fot i3 seems like a ridiculous proposition.I'm not sure if the Germans have made an implicit agreement on not to produce an executive sedan EV at a reasonable price. Even a VW ID7 - an EV passat - is like 55k. At the same time you can buy same size crossover around 45-55k. i4 having zero competitors for five years from Europeans is bizarre since Merc/BMW copy each others product lines nearly instantly.
