Has anybody else here bought an old bike? My GL500 cost $800, and it's a miracle that I was able to get it home. Nothing says project bike like the seller repeatedly trying to sell the bike as being "just like a Harley".This thing was completely immobile for a couple of years while I tried to figure out how to turn a wrech.After repeated disassemblies, reassemblies, replaced parts, and a few bouts of angry swearing and cursing, I finally got it back on the road!I tried writing out everything thing I had to do to get thing moving again, but it turns out that theres a 2000 character limit here.There's still quite a bit of work to be done, but those issues are a job for next year me.
