Anon I'm retarded, I forgot combination for the lock that I use on my bike. Fortunately it was not on the bike. I tried to bruteforce it but apparently it's 4^10 combinations which is over a million. Is there a way to open it without destroying it? It's a nice lock..

I came in too hot to a turn that I just can't get right, and I target fixated. Nothing bad happened because my brakes bailed me out, but geez. Also, besides that, I don't need any lean angle for the speeds I'm navigating these turns at. On my supermoto I can get it leaned over whenever and scape pegs. On this sport bike, it just goes. I figure I'm actually just super slow.

>>

>thats when you make a new thread.
Depends on the board, most times you'd have your thread deleted because it's unnecessary when the thread might still be up days or longer after it has hit the bump limit.
Some generals suffer from no-one wanting to make new threads which is annoying but far less annoying than retards trying to beat each other to make their own gay edition and arguing over it constantly which is what happens on the boards where the mods allow such faggotry.

Regular leathers are fine if theyre loose enough to accomodate various layers underneath like fleece or heated vest
You mainly want to layer on amd ensure the last layer is deadset wind protection and the layer before that has enough insulation
Anytime youre riding near or below subzero temps your windchill is going to be 2-4x colder based on your overall velocity
Extremities will always get frostbike first: fingers and toes and nexts your nose
Heated grips are good to have but not entirely necessary unless its -10c or fast around there, get hippo hands if youre going subarctic temps

In some states a permit is functionally just a license with light restrictions. I live in ohio and I had a permit for my first three years because they just don't enforce the restrictions where I'm from.
Those restrictions are a helmet law and not going out after dark. You only need a helmet here until you've had a full license for a year. I only got the license because I got bopped for doing both at the same time a few blocks from my house.
>>
>>29116547
> You only need a helmet here until you've had a full license for a year.
Where exactly is the logic in this?
>>
>>29116536
>It's only 4 miles to work
unironically keep the proper bike but get a shitty e-bike too for small errands or low-range commuting. my commute is about 9km and i do it on a fabricobbled ebike and it's fun enough and quick enough and when i feel restless i can play with the pedals a bit

>fabricobble a 'pushbike' with one of those 20kW peak brushless jobs.
the motor listed "power" is always irrel and by nature you can overdrive motors a fuckton. what matters is voltage for system compatibility and the actual motive power you get is, given how the market is working right now, effectively "more voltage better". more voltage better in general for a lot of complicated reasons but for the most part you can drive a 36v hub motor at "10kw" and it won't be as good as a 72v motor at 2kw. theres also a lot of autism you can get into about signaling since any system worth anything will have Hall Effect Nonsense You Dont Understand but basically there's sensors and if they can be polled faster or are spaced further apart they can be read faster and that's good and it's not TCS it's engine timing

it's very easy to build an ebike from parts, and most of the challenge is finding places for shit to go. but a lot of people look at a motor saying "20000000MW MAX!!!!!!!" and figure it's fast, like naw dog, it just won't melt if you cram 60A through it. the key things are the controller and the battery. the controller has to be able to output big power, and the battery has to be able to supply big power.

but really whats gonna happen is youll get one, realize its slow, have a lot of fun anyway, and you will live in a weird parallel universe to 2smoke bmx autists who spend tens of thousands of dollars minmaxing something that will never go faster than 50kmh

Anger is the symptom of something that is troubling you not the problem

There is something going on in your life that you need to change to feel better

It might require a change in perspective to realise what,

>>
>>29116555
>There is something going on in your life that you need to change to feel better
uh yeah like my fucking bike being broken but i need to feel better NOW so i can work on it properly (or apply that sort of thing to any other situation in life where i am mad at an immediate failure, even if if not especially my own, and cause further failures out of lack of prudence from anger)

You can't void the byproducts easily. You have to manage it. And managing it gets you more stuff. And then you get the alternate recipies... Much like every other furry-beloved-non-furry-game it's all about crisis management

>a franken-bike will be a fun project since ...
idk what a "leaf module" is but it's more about putting out clean 3-phase for most bike-ready motor kits. otherwise, if you wanna play EE, you can drive whatever motor you have however you want.

Depending on the generation of Nissan Leaf (in my case Gen II) the modules come as 2S2P for 7.4V nominal @ 60Ah when new, around 30-40Ah typical used and parted out (250W/h each). Sometimes you can get them remarkably cheap. I paid about 4USD per module - USD$16 per kW. Compare that to prebuilt LiFePO4 units.
The only issue is that each module is about 20lbs lol. All the current, not much voltage.

Nu Zullund.
98 went from 3.70 to 3.99 overnight.
Diesel is less taxed than petrol, but we pay $76/1,000km for private/non-commercial vehicles on top and rises exponentially to $352/1,000km for >9T. Diesel here is extremely sensitive to market pricing. Which is fantastic, since we closed our only refinement facility a few years ago because it was deemed 'uneconomic' to upgrade and maintain, but our fuckass govt decided to bypass all checks and fast-track a 3 billion dollar LPG terminal for ""ENERGY SECURITY""" when on any given day, 95% of our electricity production is renewable and instead gave landlords tax breaks, reduced spending on public healthcare, removed living assistance for underprivileged etc jesus fuck I sound like a whinger.

Pre-covid-canal, Diesel was typically 30-40% less than petrol.

Why can't w̶e̶ s̶h̶o̶o̶t̶ p̶o̶l̶i̶t̶i̶c̶i̶a̶n̶s̶ hold politicians responsible again?

Or you can buy one of those reverse threaded extractor bits. You should chill out and consider your options before you get frustrated and go full gorilla.
I'm not sure drilling is a good idea here.

On 2 strokes the funky design redirects the exhaust pulse (Pulse, not backpressure, fgt. Don't trust anyone who says 2 strokes like backpressure.) back toward the engine, shoving fuel and air that escaped out of the exhaust port back into the cylinder. Usually these are tuned for a specific rpm which gives 2 strokes their peaky nature but there are some sophisticated trombone style slider systems on some applications to help broaden the powerband.

False. Michelin could easily make a good front, they just don't have access to MotoGP bikes so they can test in-house, and there's no designated testing time with sprint races in the weekend, there just isn't time to spend a session testing a prototype tire for fun. Next year is Pirelli, the problem will continue though.

This also applies to 4 stroke engines to a lesser degree, crossover pipes are also used for similar effect.
In 2 strokes a very dumbed down explanation is the louder the exhaust pipe is, not the muffler but the pipe, the more power it makes.

>I'd like one but no twisties where I live
Definitely would recommend against it if you’re not planning to ride corners/track
Probably the least compromising naked I’ve ever ridden lol
It also has oodles of torque anywhere north of 5krpm that encourage to break the speed limit in less than 1.5 seconds
>How does it compare to your FZ6?
It feels like a successor to it in every way except for tourability
High revving fun with enough torque in the low end to not make you feel like you need to live at redline just to get the power down
The naked aspect really sucks but it’s worth the compromise for the super nice brakes/suspension/geometry
>90% of the used listings have less than 5k miles for 7yo bikes

That's because old guys used to fuck around with RGV250s back in the day, then left bikes to focus on career and family. When they had the time to get back into bikes 20 years later, the GSX-R1000 had been invented and they had no idea what they were getting into.

60% of the manufacturers are totally uncompetitive and have been since 2022, the past three years have been especially bad with a whopping (3) races in total won by a non Aprilia/Ducati. Terrible rules like the tire pressure minimum which meant today in the sprint that Jorge Martin had to surrender the lead because the pressure dropped due to being in the lead and clean air. The format is stupid and all but 2 races being in Europe/Asia makes it hard to watch as an American.

>60% of the manufacturers are totally uncompetitive and have been since 2022
Ok noob, for many decades, it was business as usual for only 2-4 bikes to be competitive in the dry. The age of satellite teams with full factory equipment and data sharing is a 2010s invention. I'm sorry that not every season can be like 2018, but trust me, it's better than in days past.

>Terrible rules like the tire pressure minimum
The tire pressure rule is a safety measure. Load on the front tire has gone up 40% since the current front was introduced. Michelin has had an updated front since at least last year. But with so litlte track time, nobody's willing to waste it testing the new tire for Michelin. The pressure rule is in place purely because Dorna can't pull their head out of their ass and mandate the teams do some testing. Why? I'd really like to know. I honestly hope there's more to it than that.

>hard to watch as an American

He didn't seem the type to upgrade the suspension on the thing, but he did mention getting the suspension tuned for his weight at a trackday so they might have had representatives out there do it for him and throw the sticker on. The forks themselves look very stock and it would seem odd to buy a bike that's known for coming with great suspension and then upgrade it some more

I'm almost sure that's false. If your port timing is set to make max power at 13k rpm but your pipe is tuned for 9k then you will make less power than a properly matched cylinder/pipe reguardless of decibels.
