We're talking investment in a grinder plus tools, sourcing material, shaping and heat treatment. It comes with a kydex sheath with clip attachment. What I want is a simple do-it blade, not an SRK where the rubber handle will loosen up, or a tacticool plastic knife, or wooden handles that'll come loose or rot.Single piece of steel with paracord wrapping, chisel grind and a kydex sheath. Decent, easy to care for, fail-proof.

Nope, it was for shit, and I am loath to count out how much time I spent watching Indians on Youtube teach me macramé to see if a different wrap would be better.Wrapping style had nothing to do with it and the handle was still for shit, so I found a pair of third-party scales on Etsy, which actually made it usable, and only two months after the knife came in the mail was it usable.

>>2840301Just make a handle from almost any piece of wood. I made a handle for a putty knife I found on the side of the road from a scrap piece of furring strip. I cut it using a cheap hacksaw then used a piece of brass tube from the hardware store and some 5 minute epoxy to hold it together. I've had it for years now
