Are temu backpacks reliable especially for interailing? If not have u got any budget friendly alternatives?

No.

Always check out the model you want to buy in a proper shop. Look at the stitching, try it on, make sure the spacing fits your needs. Once you get to 70l volume you're going to need decent quality regardless. For Europe that's Simond (Decathlon), Salewa, La Sportiva.

>Are temu camping backpacks any good?
Buy one and find out. I've been extremely satisfied with my rothco chink brand chink backpack.
Worth the $60. Can't afford that? GET A REAL JOB NÌGGER. COLLECT CANS. DO SOMETHING, I SPEND THAT AT A BAR ON TUESDAYS.

>is an extremely low quality product, made with the cheapest materials, and bare minimum requirements of manufacture any good?
yeah, they're fucking perfect, buddy
you should go /out/ with only products off of temu

>is an extremely low quality product, made with the cheapest materials, and bare minimum requirements of manufacture any good?
It becomes way better when you slap a known brand on it and ask for $150.

I've never bought anything from temu and if you do you are actively trying to make the world a worse place.

But the backpack I use cost me under 200 dollars 7 years ago. What are you really saving by never trying it in and just hoping it fits when Amazon delivers it?

But hey it's your money. But cheap junk from China if you want.
>>
Cheap backpacks are better than their reputation, but that ultra shit Temu garbage is probably real trash.

Saying from my homeland: "The cheapest option will cost you dearly."

Temu anything isnt good. China LOVES having 0 safety standards. Cadmium and Lead were found in almost all their products.

If you love neurological damage and poor health, by all means buy from Temu.

No, shoulder straps will break leaving you very annoyed. I think I used all 8 cable ties I took on my last chink backpack hike.

My Deuter 50+15 was $165 and has lasted 9 seasons of heavy use at this point. That’s less than $20/season. I inherited some portage packs that have seen use at least twice annually for ~40 years. I just don’t understand trying to save a couple labor-hours of wages on durable goods when it means rolling the dice on buying garbage instead. Buy used gear if you literally can’t afford it.

Naturehike Rock 40/60+5L, goes between 50-90 bucks.

>be you
>buy cheap Chinese gear that looks perfectly fine, gets good reviews on temu
>be on a multi-day trip
>gear fails catastrophically
>up shit creek
>entire trip ruined, possibly even life in danger
>rest easy knowing that you have a bit of extra money in your bank account that you can spend on something more important

Depends, are you gonna be using it to carry stuff only a few miles from your car or are you going on multi day trips with it?

If you're going on a multinday trip get something decent you don't want your pack failing you when you're out there.

Backpacks aren't even price gouged like other outdoor stuff. For $175 - $225 you can get something thst you can rely on and will last 15+ years of brutal use. It's not like sleeping pads where they charge $300 for a glorified air mattress that will fall apart or pop in under a year of use.

Hell you can get a used Kelty off Craigslist for $50 and that'll work just fine.

There's a ton of backpacking stuff that's just a scam for rich people. Most backpacks don't fall into that category and you pretty much get what you pay for unless you spend $500 on some ultralight garbage made out of tissue paper.

It’s more like
>be OP
>buy cheap Chinese gear that looks perfectly fine, gets good reviews on temu
>be on “backpacking” trip that’s 500 feet from the trailhead
>pack holds up for the entire 15 minutes that it’s worn
>rave about how great it is
>read positive reviews and comments after the fact for confirmation bias
>call everyone who disagrees a larping faggot

The backpack will be used for interrailing. Basically buy a train ticket, move around in the EU wherever you want to go to, for as long as the ticket lasts. So a very light use case. Your counterarguments are still valid though.

This.
Do not gloss over this. None of their goods are safe. There was that big lab study that showed they have shit tons of chemicals lacing their products. Lead, cadmium, arsenic being the big players.

Literally go anywhere else.

yep. stay the fuck away.
gf's friend is a temu addict. she's been getting real sick lately. she almost exclusively buys temu clothes.
