so i'm a 30 yo living with my parentoids and I'm thinking it's time to move out. but I only have 5k Euro to my name, so I calculated my options and I can either afford a plywood shed or a yurt. the shed would be warm if I put enough Styrofoam in it, but it's technically a building and I would have to pay some landlordfag to live on his land, from the same sum of money. whereas a yurt is basically a big tent and I can move if residents want to kick me out of their property. my only real concern is if I survive the winter (in romania) it can be pretty cold at night. would the stove be enough? I've seen youtubers who live in vans or trailers stack hay ballots on the side of their van to keep the heat it. would that be viable ? to make it like an igloo of hey ballots on the outside of the yurt. or should I just go with the plywood shed and ask /diy/? have any of you lived for prolonged time outdoors like that? thank you in advance
You made it to 30 living with your parents. Get a job and stuck it out for another 5 yrs at least and save. Once you leave the nest its just crippling bills and perma-indebtedness. I got the boot at 18yo and spent the next two decades climbing out of the pit of poverty, vs if my parents had sucked a bit less and not taken out my knee caps as I'm starting my life.
It must be tough living outdoor in romania especially when winter comes. I suppose it involves a lot of firewood. My recommendation would be to move to a warmer place like the canary islandsDo you really want it though? There's the risk of being killed in the wild or dying of exposure. You could just find a job and a stable situation
>>2842321IF you have 5k to your name, you are absolutely NOT moving to the Canaries.
>>2842319What exactly is your reasoning for not finding a job and renting like a normal person?
>>2842330Tbh I'm just too mentally handicapped
>>2842330op here, this guy >>2842332is not me, I'm not mentally handicapped. I just don't want to be a rentoid because the wages are small here 500 Euro is minimum wage and a room is 100 when shared with roommate. rooms are cheaper in villages but then i would have to commute to the city and i dread that
>>2842330Being romanian.
>>2842326We're talking about living in a tent here, not buying a house
>>2842337Do they have remote jobs in Europe? I think all of Amazon's customer service employees live outside the USA and work remotely from home. A third option is to buy a camper or RV, and a tiny bit of land to legally park it on. You can hook up a propane heater.
>>2842349>We're talking about living in a tent here, not buying a houseNTAHim moving to the Canaries would involve him hauling a bunch of gear, which would cost money. Him living in the Canaries would cost money. Also, why the fuck would he go to the Canaries? Mainland Europe and he could still dream of running around escaping the authorities.>>2842337>500 Euro is minimum wage and a room is 100Boohoohoohooboohoohoo.Cry more fag.t. 850 minimum wage (before taxes), 350 for a room. 600 for a studio apartment. Welcome to the nightmare world of modern Europe: rents are too damn high, better import the third world!
>>2842319So basically a gypsy
>>2842319where will you poop?
>>2842444outside, i already do it outside at the latrine and i've spent most of my life washing in plastic basin like a chinese so lack of modern comforts is not an issue
>>2842319Why don't you just move to Gelsenkirchen or Duisburg?
>>2842446Move to montreal like the rest of your flithy cousings have already done so
