Airships can already ascend to nearly the height of Everest. If you're just interested in the view, modifying airships to work at 30,000 ft would be better than trying to come up with some way to put normies on the summit of Everest. While airplanes can already do this, if you want to linger (or just mosey around slowly), an airship with observation gondolas would be a far better experience.
