Say you have to spend 1 night in the jungle in Central America with minimal or no gear, what’s your strategy? You’re allowed the very basics, e.g. paracord, lighter, the polyester blanket you stole from the airplane, etc. but no actual camping gear
I may be in this situation next month, don’t ask why

Climb a tree and to go sleep

Fucking who cares? I wrap myself up in the polyester blanket, jerk off and go to sleep. Water is plentiful, you're not going to freeze to death and 1 night isn't anywhere near long enough to starve. You'll be fine.

>what about snakes
What about them? A human being is not the natural prey of any snake, they're not going to waste their energy fucking with you unless you fuck with them. Don't blindly shove your hands beneath any logs.

Insects are more of a problem but it's extremely unlikely you'll encounter anything that will kill you in <24h.
