He's good entertainment, but excluding some generic advice he gives, he's a horrible source for actual camping/bushcraft source. He omits a lot of things and not to mention some of his shelters he builds are downright deadly if not setup properly. Multiple times he will build a roof out of dry leaves/branches and pine needles very close to a fire. I've also watched some of his snow shelters he digs out and those are also very very dangerous unless you've done a great amount of research on the area, you're well prepared and know exactly what you're doing you can end up buried or tramped by a large animal.

He's able to recognize when the snow conditions are right for it.There was also one video where he directly addressed the possibility of it collapsing, by standing on the roof and jumping a little bit. It held his weight. I mean yeah maybe if a moose or grizzly bear walked on top of it, it might collapse, but the odds of that are low.
