Southwestern Australia has these thermokarst lakes like Minnesota or Russia. Does it get very cold there?
>>2853268based retard
Bunga bunga?
>>2853268it gets pretty chillie for Australia standards but nothing even close to Minnesoter or Rusher
Are all those lakes from the ice age or something?
>>2853268>like Minnesotadont believe MNs lake are that (had to look it up) as there is no permafrost in MN. Those lakes are glacially scoured out lakes. granite filled with water.
>>2853268Arizona (one of the warmest western US states), gets colder every single winter in its high country (-30C) than the all time 100+ year record lowest temperatures every recorded in the entire continent of Australia and New Zealand. So in short, no they do not get cold. And -30C is not really that cold by Dakotan, Montanan, and Minnesotan standards, people still go outside and do yard and property work like normal in those temps. AZ also ironically has places that get hotter every single summer (51C) than the all time record hottest temps recorded in Australia. AZ also has places that average more winter snowfall than NZ's all time snowiest places in record breaking years.
Most of these are salt lakes that dry up in the summer months. It gets cold down there (by our standards) but nothing like Russia or Minnesota.Snow is rare, mostly seen in the Stirling ranges if anywhere.
Days below zero degrees C would be few and far between in that location. My guess is last ice age.
