Are Himalayas better than Alps for someone who is in good shape but doesn't climb very dangerous peaks?

Trekking in the himalayas is still dangerous, but probably. I find it even hard to compare the Himalaya and Alps. Alps are quaint with some reasonable glaciers and elevation, moderate weather, and a village, ski lodge, or some other form of human habitation every 5 km. Not without some challenges, but nothing like the Himalaya
Alps are superior. Himalayas is like hiking on Mars, it's all about stark brutality but nothing nice and nothing to do but get a pulmonary embolism. Not to mention you are isolated deep in any number of third world shitholes the entire time.
