>Time is 1:42am in the UK>Actual snowstorm covering my town>Decide "Hey I'm a fat autistic POS, lets go for a walk since snow is cool">Gear up in boots and scarf with gloves ready for a nice hour long walk So there I am walking up a hill enjoying the peace and scenery. I am a fat mid twenties male so I am not really expecting what happens next. I see over the crest, a man walking in the middle of the road towards my direction. I think nothing of it because why the fuck is anyone dodgy going to be out at this time? So I continue walking up the hill thinking nothing of it. As we get closer to eachother he sneakily starts walking onto the pavement in front of me. I'm a bit weirded out at this point so I go "Alright mate?" as a friendly gesture. He doesn't respond, I call again and he still doesn't respond. Might be my imagination but I swear he was walking brisker at me. Now I am really pissed off what I did next because I ran like hell. It's almost 2am, the roads are dead and its just me and him, I've never had a proper fight in my life and all I'm thinking in my head is "GUY HAS A KNIFE AND IS PROBABLY A MIGRANT". I am a fat bastard but somehow the adrenaline made me speed away faster than I've ever known. Despite the snow I didn't slip. So what the fuck was the guy's problem? Why did he start walking on the pavement only when we were crossing paths? My town isn't known for things like this but occasionally it does happen. I'm just so pissed off man because I feel like a coward. Still thats the most running I've done in years so I was coughing my lungs up for 10 minutes after.Maybe I should join a boxing gym.
The only news I get across the pond about bongland is about a thirdie killing someone with a knife…or ironically orwellian censorship laws
If you cant own a guy carry a bit ass knife. If you are out at a weird time act weird. Get it?
>>2856884I fucking thought about it as well. I should have brought something. I just didn't expect that in england some nutter would be walking around in ankle deep snow you know?
>>2856885Other people are always the most dangerous factor it pays to always expect an attack.
>>2856882You probably did the right thing. Sounds like the stranger was a negro, judging by his behavior.
>>2856932He was as well haha
>>2856882Running away was absolutely the right choice. There is no need to feel even a tiny bit like a coward, for there is no point whatsoever in taking the risk of an encounter with a shady ass nigga in the middle of the night with no withnesses. It is correct to trust your instincts, because your subconscious is picking up behaviour patterns and reaching a faster conclusion than our shitty ass social construct considering brain. There was a cop killings thread in /gif/ a month ago. This psycho pretended to be the caller when the cop approached him. The moment the cop got in range he drew a knife from his sleeve and stabbed the cop in the neck. Cop's first mistake was applying to social constructs that are built around mutual trust, against a psychopath. His second mistake was losing his cool when his opponent pulled a knife on him. If he turned his back and ran away, he stalls with the chase and pulls his gun, making the guy swiss cheese. He was startled and stumbled backwards, which gave the psycho the opportunity to butcher him. He died screaming "no no no please don't", blood gushing out of his throat against a vile scum that was mumbling something about owning him for messing with him like a nigglet in a cod lobby. That video fucked me up for a good week.It is an understatement to say, there are countless people with no fault or clue to their immediate demise the next moment, doing the most mundane things in their times of death in all history. Some get the time to see and fear it a full second.Social constructs fail where there is no society to uphold them, or if the breaching party has no fear of consequences for any reason. This is the price we pay going out, for we have to face the raw human psyche that has the capability to torture and kill out of curiosity or fun.I am glad you are alive and here to tell it. Next time have some means of protection on you, and always be alert going /out/.
>>2856882But aren’t knives illegal? I know slightly harsh words are.
>>2856882I know that feel bro.I was walking around a football field in the carpark when a car coming my way stops just metres from me, then a guy gets out and starts walking towards me, hands in pockets and not saying a word. I learned that night that I am definitely a flight guy, not a fight guy. My legs just moved by instinct, and they didn't stop until the danger was gone.
