>one of the most remote lakes in the western US
>3.5 miles from a paved road
>there are multiple lakes even farther up the trail
>trail head serves multiple trails
>8am at the height of tourist season in one of the most popular parks in the US
Delta lake is no where near one of the most remote lakes in the western US. Do you even believe the bullshit you spew? Beside, why do you care? You couldnt even do the hike anyways.

you can get to nearly all the most "remote" places in the western US by having a 4x4. that's called glamping not mountaineering. why do western USers LARP like they are in the Canadian wilderness or something. it's not comparible at all. you guys have roads and 4x4 trails everywhere that are frequented regularly for recreation go ahead and tell me somewhere it's logistically easier to fly in by plane than go by car sans remote alaska

Why do you just make shit up? That is not factual. The most remote places are in designated wilderness areas where no motorized vehicles are allowed. Frank Church, Bob Marshall etc... Try again.

Of course, THE most remote place in the lower 48 is in Yellowstone...again where no motorized vehicles allowed off paved roads.

Pic rel is a 20 mile hike just to get to the base...all inside 1.5 million acres of roadless (and 4x4 less) area- about 2400 square miles.

you're an idiot.

>go ahead and tell me somewhere it's logistically easier to fly in by plane than go by car

Are you really this ignorant? They routinely fly into the Frank Church wilderness...cuz, you know, there are no roads.

What's with the strange spacing? Is Reddit down?

Anon there are roadless wilderness areas in the west that are larger than east coast states. The frank church is nearly twice the size of delaware

A roadless wilderness area half the size of Connecticut. Can easteners even comprehend that?
>>
>>2857234
>larger than east coast states
That's because some states are tiny
