Some pictures to show what it's like behind the wheel of a mighty plow. Enjoy. Start with my trusty plow truck, a very stout 2010 Chevy Tahoe -- snow tires and 4WD.
Unfortunately, it seems my pictures are coming in sideways. Anyway, this next one is from inside the plow truck. This is, I'm sure, a dream for many of you. I'm sure most of you have dreamed of being a plow man. It's a rarified status. Only a select few have the sand to drive a plow. I'm going to try to spin the pics so they come out straight. Let's see how this works.
>>2859067Okay, I'll try to spin it twice to see if that straightents it out. This next one is the plow control. It's like video game controller. But way more complex. When the red light is on, you're in "float" which is the setting in which you plow.
>>2859068Okay, it appears as if I need to spin it 3 times to get the pic oriented correctly. This next one is looking down from the upper part of my driveway -- barn on the right. I'd already plowed once before earlier today. That's about 8" of fresh snow you're looking at there.
>>2859069Dang! It's still catiwompus. I'll try to spin it FOUR times this time. This next picture is my snowbank on the upper part of the driveway. That's about 5 feet high there.
>>2859070It doesn't seem to matter what I do...it's always sideways. Oh well, this next picture is the snow build up on my Volvo (daily vehicle). Bear in mind, this accumulation is only about half of what we got. I'd brushed this vehicle clean of snow at about 5 PM. That all fell in about 7 hours.
>>2859071No matter what, these pics always post catywompus. Nothing I can do. I've tried everything. Next pic is looking down from the upper part of the driveway freshly plowed. Very satisfying work, plowing.
can we see your penis?
>>2859072Hot dog, it worked! okay, now I can post the pic with the correct orientation. This next pic is from the upper portion again. This is a freshly plowed parking area near the barn.
>>2859073Yes, of course, it's the final pic. Stay tuned!
>>2859074Dammit! it still came in sideways. Anyway, this next pic is in the upper portion again. This is a better overall view of the area. Nothing quite as satisfying as a freshly plowed driveway. That's for sure.
>>2859076That one came in correctly. Okay, this next pic is the lower area. That's the front of my house. A literal log cabin on a mountain top. Very rustic indeed.
>>2859077Yes, there's appoximately four feet of snow surrounding my house. This next pic is the lower area. Directly ahead is the chicken coop (we have it insulated to keep the draft off the birds...that's why there's tarps on the side). On the right is my classic Jaguar (1996 XJS convertible, in case you're curious).
>>2859078This next pic is the same area, looking right.
>>2859079After I finish plowing, I park the truck back at the upper parking area and march down the trail inna woods. Here's that trail
>>2859080Final pic. The fresh snow depth and a pic of my benis (as promised). The fresh snowdepth as of approximately 1am in northern New England was nearly up to my knee. I hope you all enjoyed your experience with a snow plow. Most people will never even get this close to thrills of plowing. I wanted to take a moment share that with you all.
Does anyone have any questions about plowing? Any kids out there dreaming of someday becoming a plow man? I'm happy to answer any questions you may have or ignite the fires of passion in an ambitious young man out there (plowing is a man-only occupation. Women are strictly forbidden to even touch a plow). Go ahead, pepper me with your plow questions. Don't be shy now.
