I'm going beaver hunting next month and I need some opinions. Usually there has been enough snow to ski on, but now it is almost certain that all the snow will be gone by the time I get there, which means that scouting will be done by foot and there will be some flooding. This made me wonder if hip waders would be a worthy investment. I've ended up on lacrosse grande hip waders because they are supposed to be durable and comfortable to walk in. However, I'm kinda worried that they are not suitable for long walks with all the extra shaft flobbing around. Will I be okay? If yes then is there a brand i should pick over lacrosse?

I suggest you go fuck yourself since beavers are the most important species on earth besides humans. Hunt deer you boomer tier bitch

I encourage you to do spring river crossings high in the mountains wearing full waders.

Harsh. They are invasive species where I'm from

they really aren't
also they breed like crazy as long as they have habitat since we did a great job of wiping out most of their predators and in most jurisdictions they are classified as "furbearers" instead of "game animals" and can't be hunted so they are overpopulated in a lot of places

I've killed several beavers. I just skulk around the edges of ponds until I see them, I don't wear waders at all, just normal boots. Ducks are easily killed the same way. If it weren't for legal issues a .22WMR bolt action would be vastly superior to any shotgun for waterfowl.

The entirety of America would be temperate rainforest if we spammed the beaver population. They are the single most important animal for terraforming. Ants/termites and elephants are also powerhouses
