This past weekend I did a 15 miles hike in a canyon with vans shoes (that's all I have considering they have more grip that my 8yo worn down running shoes) and I had a few close calls almost twisting my ankles, not to mention my soles are bruised all over now.Is there a pair of shoes I could hike with, wear daily (so with an understated design, I wear straight cut jeans and slacks) and if possible run with (concrete, country trails, no more than 90mn at 7-8mph). I don't need it to be waterproof, it would be great if it was under 100 usd and available in black or beige.I am looking at trail running models (aren't the soles gonna be too soft for hiking)? The hikes I go on are usually rocky and slippery but I'm nothing too hardcore.Thanks. In exchange please accept this funny webm.
Which altitude are we talking about?
>>2867937>aren't the soles gonna be too soft for hikingWhat do you mean 'too soft for hiking'?
