>>4459532I have a CCTV camera, but its output is analog so i have to make a storage/shutter button assembly out of a raspberry pi and diy power source. Eventually.
>>4459871Oh your taking the camera around. That's fucking sick. These are legit really interesting.

youre creativity is beautiful good thread op>>4459938big brain. if you could share how you did that a bit more im super curious>>4459999digits
>>4459938You don't have to be that fancy with it, you can just use a laptop + capture card. >>4459999I was trying to do this, but sadly doesn't seem feasible at NTSC resolution. At least not without a giant ass telescope.

>>4459542Since you're not a retard, you can read up --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_(linguistics)I meant the camera you're already carrying with you when you're out-and-about, implying it's not the camera that automatically takes a good photograph, but the photographer himself (or herself); I was typing more stuff and preferred to keep the idea simple because also 4chan has character limits. But hey, at least my subpar thread sparked some unorthodox creativity. Might I also suggest developing some more basic human decency and empathy so that leads on to help less skilled photographers in a Photography forum... instead of patting yourselves on the back doing something excessively cumbersome to prove yourselves to whoever for whatever reason? Or is this a board where the same people make these kind of threads over and over, pushing away newcomers? But don't get me wrong, if there's a need to keep up the quality on /p/, I mean, that's fine. It's just not very realistic, in my opinion.
>>4460811I didn't even say it exactly like that ("the best camera is the one you already have"), yet that had been your takeaway. Reading comprehension issue.
>>4460783Best itt
>>4461235thanks anon
>>4459532I have an old Axis camera that I have thought about turning into a stills camera somehow. Anyone done this? OP what kind of camera are you using, and how do you have it set up?Assuming I would just get a small power supply and a raspi or something but I haven't put the pieces together in my head. Curious how others are doing this.
>>4461808it's a hikvision speed dome. i don't walk around with it or anything. just point it around and capture through the viewing software (hence the date watermark). i'm lucky enough it lets me control aperture and shutter speed, so there's some degree of freedom.
>>4461801
>>4462512
>>4462513
>>4461808It depends on the camera. If it's an IP camera it might get a bit tricky, but CAT-5 to RCA adapters exist, so might be worth giving it a shot.
>>4462553>worth giving it a shoti see what you did there.
Some of these CCTV lenses are legit. I used one on an old mft Olympus years ago and rebought it for my fuji.
