Hey /p/,
Been binging some photography channels on YouTube but most of them feel like overproduced commercials. I shoot Nikon, so it’d be nice to maybe see someone using Nikon gear for inspiration (not a hard requirement tho).

what genre of photography are you into

Mostly still figuring that out desu. I lean towards landscapes, just want to see different approaches and maybe pick up techniques I can adapt, whether it’s Nikon shooters or not.

youtube is garbage. working photographers have not much time for "content" creation. youtubers are all bunch of failed photographers. if you want to fuck yourself over as a photographer then watch them.

only worth while thing on youtube is documentaries about photographers and their interviews. daido moriyama have few really cook interviews there.

read /p/ wiki. read about photographers. look at their photos.

Then a book about photography history will serve you right. Read "Photography: The Whole Story" by Juliet Hacking

I don't follow any in particular, I just look up something like "night photography in X city" or about composition, then just click around on a few videos and take bits of info from each that I like.

Likely just because it's the camera he has. He'll get over it once he gets a second camera and realizes band whoring is retarded.
