>be me
>start getting into film
>bought a fx3 and start shooting in the park to get the hang of everything, namely exposure.
>at the park today, two mexican guys park next to me and make conversation (I'm in the south, so its normal to make random convo, and I'm Mexican too)
>get a little nervous since it's hard to tell if cartel types or construction worker types
>conversation goes on and I get the feeling they are cool
>eventually they start suggesting me shoot a a video with the new car one of the guys bought
>i think to myself this could be pretty cool so I go with it and start shooting (my literal first shoot with talent if you will).
>as I'm shooting this, during some downtime some dumb bitch comes out of nowhere to ask if I can take pictures of her on her iPhone (i literally never take pictures on my iphone and still learning)
>take pictures, dumb bitch gets mad and tells me I need to auto focus on her face and makes a snide remark about how I'm the professional
>all of this is happening while I'm just trying to shoot some film

on one hand this is cool and actually fun but on the other hand it can be a lot of pressure. its good practice in my eyes to be able to do a quick exercise around filiming other people so I went with it. you have to literally think on the spot.

anyways just wanted to share cause it was kinda all over the place. the whole time i was with those mexican guys i was kinda nervous they were trying to steal my camera but they turned out to be chill.
