Is the concept of always having a camera on you to photograph daily life something reserved for the rich (or unemployed)?How are you supposed to create a body of work based on day-to-day experiences when you're in an office for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, slaving away for corporate overlords? The only time I can see myself doing this is on a month-long holiday overseas or something. How the fuck do they do it?

Paid a salary with additional allowances if we're away from home and a weird arcane overtime system that nobody can ever figure out. Most of my monthly work days are in two five day trips away. Get paid just over 100k. The rest of the time I photograph. On time outside when I'm at on away trips, I photograph. 9-5 isn't the only existence.
i don't leave the house without a camera. just go shoot on your lunch break or before or after work. shoot while running errands. shoot while socializing. shoot the morning light in your room when you wake up. ez

And since we have so many gibs for people that refuse to work I pay around 60% of my payment back as taxes, which is absolute crazy if you think about it. So no way of saving, investing and escaping this cycle. That's life in Germany as a middle class worker. A country with apparently good "work life balance".

Can't go into the inner cities much except for designated routes. Can't stop along most of the scenic highways. Most deliveries have rigid appointments so I usually don't have more than a few minutes to shoot if at all, sometimes I've had to wake up and drive straight to the location without even stopping to pee.The huge advantage I have over almost everyone here is, yes I do travel, and I get paid for it, well, I used to, now I spend my time in repair shops waiting to get fixed up.pet photography is zero skill required oh nice you can take pictures of your pets I can do it with a cell phone. level up your skills and shoot other people's pets in foreign countries, pic related.

>>4467763I work retail and I carry two cameras in my bag not including my iPhone 16 Pro Max.I have a Sony A6100 with both a 3.5 15-60 and a 1.8 50mm prime.I also have a Pentax 115m with a roll of Kodak UltraMax 400 for when I want to shoot film.When I'm off work and I go out for the sole purpose of shooting photos, I carry my Leica SL2 with a 60mm Macro Elmarit R.Most of the time I don't use them, but when I do its 100000% worth having them.(plus I have the added possibility of someone stealing my shit and getting an upgrade for free through my insurance.)
