Models been fell off, every woman thinks they can make it big with OnlyFans. And if you're a dude, forget it. GWCs killed that off too. All women are content creators now. May as well forget it, if you're just trying to see some boobs go to a strip club and cut out all the bullshit of trying to arrange meetups that will never happen or at the last minute something will come up and they have to reschedule.

It's 2025 you have to pay to play now. I've had luck because of previous work I did before the world went to shit so I have some regular action still, back when women were approachable. These days, forget it. Try your luck at a public drawing thing where women come to bars and shit and people draw them, I don't know what they're actually called but I've had some luck with that. If you're not already established, go shoot something else. You can try friends, if you have any who are attractive and female. IF you want to shoot models, you have to bring something to the table other than "naked/lingerie woman in the woods" every single dude has that in their body of work, even me.

now we all know it's all makeup artists and retouching and it has no appeal, plus statue-esque women shot glamour or fine art style are associated with divorce and predatory use of alimony and the family divorce lawyer so the average young man goes gaga for a slightly chunky slavic girl with glasses and visible pores shot on an iphone instead

The issue is on the image viewing side. People want to see photos the girls took of themself, not a photo another guy took of them. Every OF model would hire photogs if that sold more.
This is an unrecoverable situation for photography.
Eventually maybe people will get sick of self shot content but it’s probably along way away or may never happen.
I shot nudes before and after and it’s nothing alike now, 95% less models looking to shoot and a big drop in quality too.
There just isn’t really anyway but finding the local models on Insta and browsing the ppl they follow to find more local models, really bad because you will miss travelling models and it takes ages to find local models. Also everyday the model supply decreases even further.

Just resign yourself to doing regular portraiture

Unless you want to do naked models, aren't cosplayers good option? I'm pretty sure that there are lots of amateur or starting ones that would gladly pose as long as they won't have to pay for it. Sure, they won't be experienced yet but you could always guide them. Or my idea is wrong?
