I actually really like the aesthetic of high ISO photos.
>>
>>4471649
im starting to like higher iso more mostly because the additional grain gives it texture.
>>
>>4471660
Yeah
>>
>>4471660
No
>>
>>4471649
Looks like dookie compared to film grain, but Im glad you've found a look you enjoy. Maybe add a little contrast or something to mitigate the washed out look you get on left.
>>
>>4471660
>>4471663
only Fujifilm X-Trans has good digital grain because it's mostly luminance noise as opposed to C(uck)MOS sensors and their shit colored chroma noise
>>
>>4471819
This. Thats why Fuii is number 1.
>>
>>4471660
Just be a man and shoot film if you want grain, there’s an entire art to it.
>>
>>4471819
>digital grain
Not a thing home slice. It's called noise and it's uggo most of the time and passable at the best of times.
Zoomers coping by saying "look at muh digital grain" because they want the look of film without actually shooting film.

Me 2. Been fucking around with higher iso shots on my xtranny sensors and its a nice look

One day when I have money to burn getting two good pictures from a roll sure

Isn't it just low contrast you like?

hello snoy!

>>

No, you just have chroma noise reduction turned all the way up by default and tasteless cannot POS R blobbers with no soul leave it in because "chroma noise reduction reduces the chroma MTF curve!!!!"

Any camera can have zero chroma noise if you obliterate it to the degree that things start changing color.

In the end it's just a lower resolution CFA so when moire happens it looks like noise to the noise reduction software (or worms)

If fuji actually solved a major problem in digital photography they would have 50% market share, not, like, 7%. Fujifilm is not a popular brand, nor have they accomplished more than scamming some shmucks. And given their borderline nonexistent market share, every broken fujifilm reported is like five or six broken snoys - and a lot of fujishits break. Dropped the ball/10 maybe DJIblad or Nikon/RED will save us from the stagnation of innovation offered by cannot POS R and SNOYs bricks and blobs.
>Nikon right now: let's release the a7iii again but with more video codecs and a different jpeg preset for the idiots that believe in "color science"
oh no...

maybe DJIblad will save us

Early XTrans perhaps but modern versions looks like bacteria on a petri dish.

or fuji just doesnt make good cameras

they make high priced social media marketing grifts
>makes same camera six times

>lens still soft
>autofocus still slow noisy and shit
>price only goes up
"Lifestyle brand" (chinese fast fashion)
"Popular" (paid shills, low market share)

>>
>>4472812
It's schizo because it's the same stuff copy pasted over and over here, you aren't adding anything new, just reposting because you have nothing else to contribute
When you have to link an article to prove x trans sucks, that is entirely hypothetical and used zero actual x trans images and an intentionally different debayering method, should be cause for realization, but you'll ignore it just like every other time those articles have been debunked

>you
you you you.... do you fucking wormtrans shills think there's only one person that knows this info and values it...talking like everyone is the same person. there are many people here on /p/ who hate snoy and fujishit because micro four thirds makes better cameras. open youtube sometime. we're everywhere. the clock is ticking for your oversized sensor cope. the walls are closing in. phones are getting micro four thirds sensors, nikon is getting global shutter and AI autofocus, and then it's over for snoy and fujishit forever. you are out of the camera market. micro four thirds is replacing you. buhbye snoy fool framer and worm copers.
>I-ITS HYPOTHETICAL
both articles show definitively that xtrans is a lower resolution CFA that still has moire issues and fuji marketing lied
thats why they still have no market shae
>NO XTRANS IMAGES!
one has xtrans images the other is theory. and theory is valid.
digital photography is math
digital cameras are soulless math machines
and this shit gets reposted because fuji's shills are aggressive anti-m43 schizos with no REAL weather sealing

just look at any xt5 or x100vi review and they implicitly admit xtrans is garbage. it needs a sharper lens but is also softer than the cheapest 25mp m43.

last /gear/ some fucking faggot was lying and saying micro four thirds had no advantages
that is a literal fucking lie. a g9ii will blow any snoy a7iv the fuck out in dynamic range sharpness autofocus video IBIS weather sealing etc and the lumix gh7 is a higher resolution, higher IRL dynamic range, more useful camera than literally everything fujifilm makes that isn't crop MF

know your place fuji shill

fuji has no market share despite lying and shilling non stop
olympus has no market share because the yakuza laundered all their money away and panasonic has very little because no marketing budget

panasonic and om system make better cameras than fujifilm deal with it. GH7 and om1ii objectively > xh2. om5ii objectively > x100vi.

Schizo ranting about camera brands, nobody cares. Your pictures are non existent, you don’t post them. They are boring anyway

Cope. Grain and noise are literally exactly the same thing.
>>
>>4471819
X-Trans are CMOS.
The only difference is the color filter layer pattern vs bayer, lmao. Same sensor tech underneath.
>>
>>4471819
X-Tranny is CMOS, niglet.
X-Tranny CFA is unsalvageable POS that was created to fix moire on lower resolution sensors and is now completely useless on higher res sensors. In fact it's counter-productive as it reduces chroma resolution and requires very specific and more complex algorithms, which in turn need higher processing power for worse results. There's a reason fuj went back to bayer on their high end, high res medium format.
>digital grain
There's no such thing as "digital grain", it's noise. Turn up chroma denoise and you'll have the same on any sensor.

How to be scammed by fujiworms :
1 - be a techlet
2 - shoot highly compressed instagram jpegs

You can check how much high iso values affect to cameras dynamic range (DR).
Just pick your model from right panel.
Each whole number down in left side scale means halving pictures tonal range.
So if DR is 10 in some iso value it means you have 1024 step tonal range. If DR drops to say to 8 you have 256 steps tonal range.

>>
>>4471649
Same. I'm a casual shooter and I pick my cameras based on how nice high iso looks like, entirely in subjective terms. Not a big fan when it's all color noise, but I really like it when noise is moderately uniform, then I lose some colors, then dynamic range, and get a bit of a texture. It doesn't have to make any sense in technical terms, but it pleases me a lot in results.
