Windows color management is retarded and thinkpad screens suck balls. Both LR and C1 exports failed to 100% match the preview (with srgb consistency ensured) until I bought a mac. Windows color space clamping is insufficient for lelnovo hdr screens and their nonhdr screens are just bad

>>4484922If your computer cant do the right colors you cant know if you got the right colors editing to a reference and your edits will always look different everywhere else. People will usually upgrade their gear and blame the last brand names "raw color science" here. With a $100 colorimeter, displaycal, and a quality screen you will always be able to nail your colors with any camera but even shit screens benefit massively from being calibrated (they’re usually too warm and saturated so edited photos end up way off in prints, other screens, etc and you’re basically editing while colorblind)If you actually just can’t edit against a reference to copy another photos vibe at all, idk what to tell you, git gud
