new worst trip ever?
digishit daguerreotypeI'm surprised how much detail actually came out of a nearly black grainy jpeg
I realize there's more ceiling than floor, but I liked the uneasy feeling it gave off.
>>4491942Nice shot.
>>4491942Also more ceiling than floor was absolutely the way to go.
>>4491942Very nice.>>4491971Agreed
>>4491968>>4491971>>4491991Thanks friends, it means a lot to me to get some feedback. Here's another pic.>>4491960Otherworldy. The way you aligned that staircase in the middle is a neat illusion, it's like a triangular monolith that is sitting behind the rocks and took me a sec to realize it was a staircase.>>4491991Colors in this are badass. Ricoh GR right? How is it?
>>4491993I have a 3x and its fantastic. Its the only camera I had with me on a recent trip to the Caribbean and it performed exceptionally. The lens is sharp and the sooc colors are great.Everything you've heard of how atrocious the AF is in low light is true, and the collapsible lens sucks in dust like crazy. I had the flash Ricoh sells separately, which helped a lot. The battery easily lasted the avg day of around 200-300 shots, so no complaints there. I've tried the teleconverter before. It works well, but defeats the purpose of the camera IMO.
>>4492001>the collapsible lens sucks in dust like crazyI hadn't heard about that, so that's really making me second guess getting one.
>>4492005all your lenses have dust in them right nowi dont even need to see them, its just a factdoes that affect your image quality? have you noticed a problem from the actual dust in all your lenses right now? no, of course not.

>>4492035
>>4492005>>4492022Yeah its an acceptable tradeoff for portability. Using a brush to remove dust from the area around the lens that retracts into the body every once in a while goes a long way. The likelihood of dust ending up in the sensor is rare, but if it does happen, I hear it's ~100 to get it cleaned professionally.>>4492044Is that a cobweb?>>4492048Not bad, but I prefer the uncropped version.>>4492061Wife material
>>4492065how you do this?longer exposure and panning?
>>4492094> Wife material Funny you say that, she’s praying during a festival that is dedicated to finding boy/girlfriends
>>4492175Also funny that he says that because she has bug eyes. I have no problem with Azn waifu, but standards are required.
>>4492178You look into her eyes. I look into her sovl.
>>4492144I think the mountains and sky need a little dehaze but it’s a nice shot. Where’s it at?
>>4492178> standardsIf you had any, you wouldn’t be here
>>4492191The haze isn’t haze but a bunch of tiny water particles and sand from the waves and the beach. You are looking at a photo of Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro Brazil.
>>4492213>that haze isn't haze, it's hazeAnyway, good for you for not Photoslopping your way to a result.
>>4492221Yeah I realized how retarded my answer was as soon as I hit post. Thanks anyways. Any thoughts on the others I posted? (Yes the first ones are phone photos)
Closing time
>>4491869Nice fujiworms
>>4492226And the original shot for comparison
>>4492228Good job removing all the reflections. I’m not a fan of the photo but I can’t deny that it’s clean. You are good at post processing.
Did a quick screenshot and crop because I think this would’ve been more interesting in my opinion. Since you shot f2 might as well crop out the whole left side of the photo, it doesn’t contain any fun geometrical or storytelling elements that justify it being there and it doesn’t contribute to the whole either. I’m the dumbo that said that the haze wasn’t haze so you can choose to totally disregard my advice if you want. >I think I got IP blocked for saying you were good at shooping lmao
>>4492237>Since you shot f2f3.5Yeah It was mainly a test shot. Playing around with a 24mm Tilt/Shift. I considered cropping it bullseye too but I tend to try to avoid it. It has its time I guess.
>>4492228Huh, I thought this looked weirdly fake for some reason.
>>4492239Second photo was titled f2 so I assumed. Share others of your tilt shift lense when you can. I’m curious.

do you guys play with temp in lightroom? I always do and it feels like cheatingit's just fake tbqhwy
>>4492284I make very slight changes depending on the scene or on the basis of if that appearance can happen at that place naturally.
>>4492285picrel just wasn't as warm SOC yeah sure, Nice, France CAN look that warm and probably does with your own eyes but I always feel a bit stupid cranking temp up
>>4492286>France CAN look that warm and probably does with your own eyesThat's all that matters. You're communicating your perception and how you viewed the scene, so if the camera didn't look as warm as how you perceived it, then crank it up a little and don't think twice about it.

This was a fun one. Nikon D610 + 35mm f2 with a red gel on my speedlight. Kind of want to expand on this concept a bit more.
