>>4494795>>4494807The focus box goes over the contrasting edge of the eyeball that is closest to you because DOF extends back more than it extends forward and autofocus locks on to contrast edges. If you want the nose in focus you have to shoot at f8 to f11 and focus on the midface. Practice this and check focus to fine tune your work. Both photos are underexposed and have shitty white balance as well. Shoot raw so you can adjust exposure and wb on the kind of screen people will see photos on instead of relying on the camera.
