Is it over for micro four thirds or is it over for the rx100?

It was already over for micro four thirds when people more competent than fujifilm began releasing aps-c mirrorless and most 1” point and shoots are discontinued

So its more like its over for aps-c and most mirrorless cucks and specs fags that just shoot benches and trees

Shoot fulm or soulful vintage large sensor digital for a hobby, high end digital for pro work, and if you do action and flash any camera is still better than a phone

Micro Four Thirds has an unlimited potential, it's just that the manufacturers suck ass. Due to the size and resolution, they could offer global shutter on all the models from the OM-5 onward. The professional bodies could have unmatched battery life, video shooting time, and stabilization due to the extra space. At the same time, they could bring back something like the GM1 so you can take incredible photos with lenses and camera bodies that fit in the palm of your hand.

global shutter doesnt change the fact that the sensor is essentially bottomed out at iso 800 (best case, most expensive scenario) and requires more expensive lenses to correct smaller aberrations for smaller pixels
to save like a quarter pound and an inch of length over aps-c
>but fps
fps has literally never mattered after cameras broke 10fps… on 35mm film. its a video thing and guess what, mft is indeed still alive as a low budget cinema system. because its digital 8mm.
>bro the gm1!
always had the quality of a phone further kneecapped by panasonics inability to make a reliable camera with autofocus worth a fuck, worse ergos than a phone, and relied on $500+ f4 primes to sort of edge ahead of a phone and lose true pocketability

the ricoh gr pre-destroyed the lumix gm series

>is it over
how can it be over when it's already dead. Which company is seriously making m43 cameras and pushing its frontiers rather than rehashing decade old tech
