old pic but recently processed
>>4499929>>4499930love the tones>>4499939very nice
>>4500038somethings wrong with the highlights in the whole set. blown, and then crushed to red. also why would you post 7?
i know its fucking perfect, please
bright ass day today
>>4500042My best guess is they were really overexposed and he tried to bring it down in post. Very strange considering it was low light.
Is this too dark?
>>4500112For HDR? Yes, I'd up the overall exposure about half a stop.
I was just playing around at home but I really like how the diffusion looks in this picture. Only edit was -21 contrast
>>4499933Really like this.>>4499937Peaceful.>>4499939Very very nice.
>>4499956pretty symmetry
>>4499929
I'm not sure why this looks so off. Did I miss the focus?
>>4500277The comment was meant for a different photo. This one I clearly missed the focus but to me it's still alright
I received a second hand GR2 sort of as a gift. I haven't taken it out yet but I've been really happy with it just messing around at home. I'm a bit conscious about the megapixel-age because I tend to pixel peep when checking that I got focus correct, but I usually downscale output anyway.
I used the lens in reversekinda cool
Older I get, the more envious I become of scenes like this
>>4500312
>>4500313
>>4500315I’d have never taken these pics when I was 20
I will never understand the allure of walking around everyday places and hastily snapping literally any non-moments of random people.Who the fuck thinks like this? Who goes 'oh yeah let me just go out into a busy street and take photos of literally anything'?Thank god the board is full of building corners and black and white asians because oh boy it would be a shame if we lost those.
>>4500328Get well soon
>>4500330lmaoI like the amount of insights into each poster's life you get from just one photo :D>>4500333this is really nice those colours are great
Sup photo niggas
>>4500294When you say “used in reverse” what do you mean?
>>4500367Flip the lens around, like how a telescope sorta becomes a microscope when you look thru the other end
>>4500344Sparkling photo, OP keep it up
Wake up early in the morning, anon, go out.
>>4500396
>>4500391cool
>>4499930Where was this taken anon? it looks super familiar
the sky looked pretty today
>>4500165>Really like this.Thank you!
Ah Manchester. What a shithole.
I've never owned a camera or even taken a photo
>>4500577Then you’re in the right place
>>4500574>>4500575So much culture and diversity. I especially love that red bicycle that's dangling from that window.>>4500315>>4500313>>4500312Love these
>>4499993Thanks!>>4500422 (checked)Old Town Museum in Burlington, CO.
>>4500396>Wake up earlythat's a nice sky, but i'm not doing that
>>4500315>>4500326>>4500344Saved>>4499939The grain seems too intense but saved>>4500423Nice colours
>>4500695You know, to receive positive comments is one thing, but to have someone *save* the photo is really something else. I’m glad the images captured you. May I ask what you do with the images you save?
>>4500697I save photos I like or think are good to help me learn. I only started doing this recently for /p/ stuff but have been doing it for /fa/ stuff for years
>>4500680lazy.
testing out some new lenses (pentax smc-k 35mm f3.5 + k70)
>>4500751super multi-coated takumar 55mm f1.8 m42 + k70
>>4500752same lens
>>4500753smc-k 35mm f3.5 + k70 again
>>4500790Nice
>>4499939>>4500210>>4500312favorites :-)
>>4500695>>4500698>The grain seems too intense but savedFeels nice to have a save worthy image to someone, starting a sort of inspiration folder is also a pretty neat idea. Here's a no grain version for your folder, though there's still a little ISO noise, but I just tend not to denoise my images.
>>4500793Damn just missed this from my reply. Thanks anon, I really like this one, it's got a good 80s seediness to it like something from Thief.
trying something different where i underexpose by 1 stop and then boost by 0.5 in post. im really liking it what it does to the colors.
How do I make 90's pictures in 2026?
>>4500832what do you mean by "90s pictures"
>>4500833something like these
>>4500806are you shooting film or is this digi?
>>4500834Buy an olympus mju or some similiar 35mm point and shoot with a flash, load a roll of random color film, shoot cars at night, print, done.>>4500835Looks digital to me, though the "technique" makes no sense if op shoots raw. Id also say its a fuji, judging by the smeared tree branches
are these deers okay
>>4500835digi>>4500842>though the "technique" makes no sense if op shoots rawdoes it not? it seems like it looks more natural when i underexpose and boost it rather than regular expose and take it down.>Id also say its a fuji, judging by the smeared tree branchesnikon d3200 with a 35mm. i put sharpening to 0.
>>4500832Softness is a big part. If using digital, you can manually focus and chances are it'll be slightly out of focus, so it'll give a nice softness. Everything after that is in editing, so probably>reduce contrast>up black point to make shadows matte (note in the photo the shadows aren't pitch black but more charcoal)>color grade to your liking (maybe have an inspo picture nearby)Pretty much done.>>4500834Same thing but with a flash. If you want to just no brainer the whole process, get an old P&S film camera with a flash and you're done. You can find them all over eBay for $20.
>>4499937Beautiful, looks like a fantasy. What kinda film is this shot on?
>>4500914nigga dont pretend like you don't now its a Ricoh GR
>>4500916I'm a newb, the only cameras I know are the ones I own.
>>4499937Thanks. The other anon is right, this was indeed shot on a GR3x in Barbados, immediately after a thunderstorm.
>>4500914>>4500948Meant to reply to this anon. >>4500919So how about posting some recent pictures you took with them
>>4500904if youre shooting raw and if theres no blown highlights in the 'regular' exposure, then there basically shouldnt be any noticeable difference, defintiely not in what is essentially a half stop exposure difference. but you know, in the end, if you see a difference, kudos to you, shoot on, thats whats importantthe only possibility that actually comes to my mind is that youre using some weird raw developer software and the exposure slider happens after some color corrections, but i dont think that even lightroom does that
>>4500806>>4500904I'm impressed that an old D3200 and a little editing can produce such a good film emulation.
>>4500962bruh are you blind, looks nothing like film
>>4499929Nice
>>4500948Incredible color/timing
>>4500999"You deal with me! VEGETABLE KING !"
>>4500949This is one of my most recent pics. It's digital, but recently I was gifted a film camera so I'm trying to learn how to shoot with that.

>>4501205looks great!
Playing with streak filter
>>4500695ty its always funny to think my pictures are on a random pc somewhere>>4500793appreciate it its my first ever reel of film, found it a bit mediocre tbf but i liked that cactus room>>4501231Pentax K1 with one of them SMC 40mm pancake lenses, its the best thing ive bought - sold a Fuji X100VI to get it (boring brand imo) so worth it - that lens is really sharp when you want it to be, that pic is f5.6 1600iso
>>4500786Very nice>>4500791Comfy, excellent light>>4501018The "Mr. Fixit" sign over the dilapidated building is great contrast, but I don't think the framing with the fence adds to the image. Also the WB seems a bit off.>>4501055The innocence of children is the only thing that gives life some meaning.
>>4500698hey, you've got one of mine. that's nice. hope it helps you.
>>4501380shadows are insanely lifted for my taste but i like it anyway and i respect the creative choice to lift that shit like Arnold even if thats not what i would've done lol. looks good.

>>4501539that light at the top is killing it for me, definitely an example where the use of photoshop would be justified. really like the photo though.
Hi anons, this is the first photo I have ever posted to this board. I am an aspiring nature and wildlife photographer. How did I do? Canon T3i at 200mm (320mm FFE) with the kit lens. I have already ordered a 300mm (480 FFE) lens because I was definitely limited when it comes to birds and other small animals.
>>4501552and here is another
>>4501552300 on asp c is also not enough for birding and wildlifeT.300 on sony aspc
>>4501562Unfortunately birding really needs 600+ for anything other than environmental portraits when birds are involved. And who the fuck wants to carry that around.
>>4501542nice
>>4501495dude I have no clue what im doing this film stuff is too old world for me >>4501539get 4chan X i wouldnt even use the site without it
>>4501595thanks, excellent shot too
>>4501596Probably should've use a hot pixel filter bro.
>>4501595very nice
>>4501543disagree. i think the light ties the frame together
>>4501596thanks im impressed by everything you posted + they all look quite familiar?>>4501001i keep coming back to this its such a great shot and timing its like everything was just perfect
>>4501601To be fair I feel weird even about using a denoiser, so photoshopping is usually out of the question >>4501604appreciate it! I got my first camera a few months ago and I discovered this board literally yesterday (migrated from /mu/ after an 8 year hiatus), so I doubt you'd see them anywheretried experimenting with movement to freeze subjects against a blurry background, didn't get much good results, but this pic had a bit of an early 00s vibe
hawaii is wild
>>4501631is this film? love it
>>4501658Sony A7V with one of the new film looks.
