Damnit. Hit enter and created thread.

Anyway, I have three specs on my sensor that constantly show up in photos with light backgrounds like the sky. I used the sensor cleaner and it does nothing. I used a turbo air blower and it does nothing. How do I clean these little specs off this thing?

hawk-tuah spit on that thang

sometimes for me the manufacurer directions of lightly swiping the sensor twice doesnt really do the job. you should be able to gently rub the swab with the sensor cleaner directly on the problem areas with a little itty bitty amount of force as long as you dont sperg out and press super hard.

i sold an xt-4 on ebay and the guy sent it me back saying there was a dead pixel on the sensor despite it being only barely visible at like f16. I said it was just dust on the sensor but he wasnt happy.

i got it back, did some dead pixel tests etc and cleaned it once. speck didnt go. so i did it again with a bit more force and it worked. its probably a bit of dust that was wet that dried and got stuck to the sensor.

Turn your in camera stabilisation off before you clean it so the sensor doesnt swing when you clean it. im p sure they are much more robust than what you are lead you to believe

In all honesty he probably sent it back because he realized how stupid it is to buy a fuji

Its wasting money on low capability tools like a status signaling purchase, but its not a status signal. It’s kind of like those low end mall watch rolex knockoffs that are either quartz or cheap japanese automatic movements and sell for $500. Sure you can take some good photos on a fuji. But you can also take some good photos on an eos m or an a6000.

OP here. I used this, and it worked. I tried it first without the solution and it got part of the three specs of dirt off, but then I used the solution and it got them all the way off. Sensor is flawless.
Thanks, bros!

I did so many stupid thing to my Nikon - for example once I tried to clean the sensor with a vacuum cleaner, suprisingly my camera still works like nothing happened
