Anyone getting this? The analog fags crying about its price have not seen top end FF mirrorless digital prices I guess.
My main issue with it is that panorama is useless for online sharing, a portrait oriented camera like the Fuji 645 point and shoots make more sense for premium film cameras.

cool opinion anon I'm sure a lot of people were waiting to hear it, next time go to the stupid question thread or post it on /b/ instead of killing others threads. thanks
>>
it looks cool but why can't the chinks step up from making cheap lenses to making cool film cameras? i'd buy a meme panoramic one for cheap and then a cheap m mount too.
>>

I read it was expensive but I can't find out where you are supposed to buy it.
>>
>OMG is that Jeff Bridges' camera?
I hate the publicity it gets. Soon we will see all these hipsters shooting boring unoriginal wannabee panos to grab some pathetic second hand fame. Enough to feed AI hunger, then to be replicated ad nauseam.

For such an expensive product the site is nothing but a load of hot air.
But it's fine with me, let these rich folks have their cake. I hope for them the camera is actually good.

What a load of bullshit. What a garbage camera. Mind you, I wouldn't judge anyone for owning one and I think it's fun to explore niche ways to take photos. But the fact this is being sold for 5k and the marketing on the website illustrates perfectly why photography is not taken seriously as an art.
> Yeah absolutely the camera sucks but you know, soul, right?
> My client was hating every second of the photoshoot until I took out my stupid camera and then we started circlejerking about gear, so yeah, like, what's more to say, buy the dogshit camera so you can become a clown on top of a hack.
>>
>use normal camera
>take one picture aligning right edge of frame on center of composition, take another picture with left edge on center
>stitch them together in post with a click
>normal 3:2 cameras give you widelux 3:1 in two shots
Saved you guys some money

Use 3 shots in manual or AEL to give software room to fix perspective distortion unless you know how to find the lens nodal point have have the right tripod plate

Also step back a bit for crop room. The edges distort when stitched.

> fix perspective distortion
anon, can you please try to keep up here? the whole point of the 5k camera is to have dogshit image quality and shitty distortion. If you don't have that where is the soul?
>>
>>4507768
Have you ever stitched a panorama in your life?

Yes you need cropping room and overlapping shots.

I am so thankful merging has become standard in LR/C1
Can't remember last time I had to use Microsoft ICE
