For each date that I go on, I would like to give my date something that I have folded myself. My first date is the 7th and I will be gifting a crane then.Do you guys have any more suggestions? Traditional is preferred, but contemporary or from something (like an anime or video game since she really likes those) is also welcome. My origami skills need honing, though, since I took a several year long break, so simpler origami is preferred for the time being.Thank you for your help.
>>628686Unfortunately, I have contracted Dengue, so the date is now on the 14th, but I folded the crane on a custom cut 3" square of paper. Feel free to laugh at my poor folding job.
>>628686I'm not an origamist but happen to be a woman, and I wanted to say this is really sweet and I would personally love it.
>>628686Is she into Star Wars?this Yoda isn't hard to fold and looks really great with the right colors:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9FlfYSLY6g>>628709Don't straight up fold the wings like that, pull them apart to make them slightly curved and make the "body" 3d
>>628712Thank you. I am just glad that she never lurks this board, since I said it was a surprise.>>628713At risk of doxxing each other. She goes to to a Disney Park a fair bit and has ties to another major park. Reminds me of some of the Michael LaFoss guides. Might need to lurk for those. The crane suggestions nshould be put right easily. Thank you.
>>628686Doing it on the first date and every date seems a bit excessive and weird. Second date would be my vote
I suggest asking what things she likes. I gave my gf this horse because she said it was her favorite animal. >>628717Agree with this anon that one for each date seems a bit excessive desu.
