This includes:
- videogames
- social media
- fast food
- alcohol

For example, I never grew up drinking alcohol. That made me not want alcohol when I turned adult. When I feel depressed, I never turn to alcohol, because my mind and body wasn't used to it as a teenager.

This is why it's so important to ban everything that is addictive to children, and instead focus on parenting and making kids read, learn and educate themselves.

>fast food
I really wish you retards would stop trying to ban the general concept of fast food. It the additives IN the food that makes it unhealthy, not the food itself. Outlaw onions and other endocrine disrupters and everyone will be healthier, not just kids, and only megacorps would complain. And it's not just in fast food, but all kinds of crap just as easily bought from any grocery store. And to stop that you'd pretty much have to outlaw children buying food at all, which is frankly psychotic.

>alcohol
They already can't legally buy it, what more do you want?

I completely forgot that filter existed.

What do you mean? Fast food is full of fat (oils) and salt. Humans LOVE fat, salt and sugar. Everything that has these three ingredients will taste good.

Vegetables don't taste fat, salt or sweet, which is why kids avoid them.

>That made me not want alcohol when I turned adult.
I grew up raised by a british father and german mother in the US. In both of those countries drinking is normal, my parents gave me beer at dinner if I asked for one at ages as early as 10.
Never more than one beer and most of the time I couldn't drink more than 6-10oz or so.
It normalized alcohol to me.
When I turned 21 and became legal to drink I was far more responsible with alcohol than my friends who's parents forbade it.
What works or doesn't work for you can't be applied en masse with the hopes everyone is going to be like you.
I wouldn't expect giving all 10 year olds alcohol works out to be a good choice for all of them.
I don't think banning anything is good either, just makes people want to do it more and is in general a slippery fucking slope.
Focus or parental education and fixing family units.
Neither of which are something I would ever trust the government to do, let alone even be capable of.

>Humans LOVE fat, salt and sugar. Everything that has these three ingredients will taste good.
And we need fat and salt to live. They are literally necessary to keep you alive.

>Vegetables don't taste fat, salt or sweet, which is why kids avoid them.
Unless you plan on outlawing everything to eat but plain vegetables, you can still get plenty of other shit that's quick, convenient and tastes good from a grocery store.

Totally agree. Also sex. This way we can end humanity once and for all.
That's what you wanted to profess, amirite fellow shalom?

We eat way too much of it. Fast food means tons of fat and salt. They do it like that on purpose to make it addictive, in order to make money.

I grew up on video games and fast food. I don't depend on them. I'm not here to parent the world so no. Not gonna suggest banning kids from the world.

Obesity is overwhelmingly a food issue. I don't even know how many retards I've heard that genuinely think people are fat because we don't walk enough.

You were unwittingly trained by your parents in self-control in alcohol consumption.
Now, I don't endorse alcohol consumption at all, but teaching children the concept of self-control and having them practice it early on is what matters, rather than restricting addictive things from children.
When they grow up they will be exposed to practically infinite number of addictive things, and they will need to know how to deal with ALL of them, not just videogames, social media, fast food and alcohol.
The only way is to train children how to defend themselves against addiction itself, not just some addictive substances.

What does it matter? The carbs in white bread are broken down into sugar almost instantly. You can chew the bread a little longer than usual and actually taste it happening. Any white bread does this.

I don't get why carbs that ars broken down into sugar almost instantly aren't a problem but sugar is. It's 99% the same thing.
