Giants sure, but I'm very skeptical of anything much taller than 9' just because of the square cube law. That's still 50% bigger than a full grown man. I could also see much of it referring just to mass, not height. I worked with a guy from wisconsin who was only 6 ft tall, but was nearly 300lbs without being fat or a body builder. His body was just huge, big head, size 16 shoes, his fingers were the size of sausages, his whole skeletal structure was just much bigger and thicker. I was 6" taller than him, but still felt like a child in his presence. His poor wife was like 5' 90 lbs.
